What I really liked about those day was that THQ dominated. They did the WWF games, the ECW games, and the WCW games too. Now a days wrestling companies cut major deals with one specific gaming company (WWE with THQ & TNA did with Midway)

This game made me a wrestling fan. I never watched wrestilng, and somebody gave me this game in 2006, and after playing it, I started watching it. This, SYM, HCTP, and WWE '12 are the best Smackdown games.

i would play this crap too much. I remember i was playing ps1 and playing chris jericho vs kurt angle at the time kurt was the champion and i couldnt beat it then i realized i was trying to attack kurt with the start button LOL

Love smackdown 2, still a classic. Love how the early smackdown games were all fun and detailed. Unlike the current ones, which are boring imo.

Create a taunt is better than anything in a recent WWE game. cant believe a game that came out in 2000 had this and not a game made in 2011.

WWE 12 needs to take hints from SD2. This game was like Bob Ross said..FUN. I played this game for HOURS with my friends back in middle school. Now the games got too compnicated and less boring.

THQ needs to take a look back at this awesome game and make WWE '13 like this. I agree with Bob Ross, they need to bring back "Create A Taunt", I loved the fact that you could create a taunt unique to your CAW or create taunts that weren't in the game. Great Review!!
