Cmon Sacramento give this guy a chance, this dude is a beast at 6'5 acyually 6'6 and is a point guard! He backs it up though with excellent ball handling skills and much needed athletism all in which the Kings lacked, his passing will come just that they got to stay off the injuries

I am amazed at how the Kings were somehow fortunate enough to see Rubio fall into their lap, but pass on him any way for a SG who is bound to be a flop. I hope the front office is content with paying 5 million a year to Beno "I average only 4.7 assists in 32 minutes" Udrih. I also hope that the front office is content with it's astronomical loss of fans such as myself and their eventual departure from Sacramento.

Geoff Petrie gets paid millions to pick these players and he thinks Evans will be much better than Rubio....

I'm not saying that I am better than ANY GM/Owner out there. I, like many, would fail immensely if given the opportunity. I'm just stating my opinion is all. I just don't believe Evans was the right choice based off of what I have seen from Evans in college and Rubio in the OLYMPICS (not youtube). I admit, if he works hard, Evans has a chance to be a great supporting player down the road but he nor Kevin Martin will ever be a superstar or even a number 1 guy on a team.

This draft really put an end to my state of being a lifelong fan of the kings. They have completely lost sight of what the organization once was: hard-working, exciting, and loyal (Irealize this is a little contradicting for me to say loyal). Nonetheless, this team has no direction but down and eventually being moved or even scraped completely.
