  • Feckin show off. LOL

  • (GO Click)> jun fukamachi KEEP

  • I was at this Yoshi's gig. After one of the tunes a guy yelled out "Now play something difficult!" Everyone laughed, A.H. smiled.

  • Really miss Tony, but this is the real deal.

  • A true craftsman! Phenomenal!@

  • its too short :(

  • Is that Jimmy Haslip on the bass??

  • eddie van who?

  • my Man!!!!!!!!

  • amazing !!!

  • Very Nice Nice Tune!!!

does some one knows the name of this track?

  • It's called Red Alert

  • Thank you

  • HE IS A FREAKING MONSTER.

  • Glad somebody agrees with me!!

  • Geez I loved Gary

  • once again i agree with pellow this time.chad needs to get inside the music, gary h is better but i dont like him as a drummer.chad should be a builder?.

  • whooohooo yesssss... ;)

  • Yes ! Smoking !

  • I find Chad lacking flair and finesse. It just seems like he's going through the motions. Please don't respond to this with a barrage of swearing, it's just my opinion.

  • I got an entirely different impression from the dvd.

  • my favorite drummer with Al was Novak he was in a overlooked period in Al's carrer but holy christ his speed and light touch perfect for Al and Vinnie awesome Gary Husband was great. I love Chad hated the other loud drummer But can't remember his name Gary something. But it's time for Chad to do something else like play in a robot band

  • "hated the other loud drummer But can't remember his name Gary something"

The other loud guy that springs to mind, is the barefoot drummer Joel Taylor. but i personally liked him for his different approach to the tunes. imagine playing 'Texas' with a fast drum and bass feel. i've heard him do it live. nice. don't know if you mean him though. :)

  • Gary Novak

  • of course, duhh! totally forgot him. :P I was actually standing right in front of the stage (2,5mtrs from his set) on a gig in Apeldoorn, Netherlands in 1997 with Dave Carpenter on bass.

I even made some nice pics of the trio back then.

thanks for clearing it up, Amptech.

  • Gary Husband?

  • Wackerman and Bozzio together? Now, that would be totally awesome...

  • Allen, Chad, and the rest never sieze to amaze me. Thanks handymanaustin

  • Chad Wackerman is a high class drummer. He plays nothing clean fills, with nice sounding fusion beats. If you wana hear him in real action, watch the video of him and Bozzio.

  • awesome tone, i swear some of the those lines arent possible on a guitar he is a monster with his pinky

  • this is what i pictured the worlds best guitarist to look like ...not some shredder guy with long hair and an ibanez of some sort ...Amazing licks!

  • Lets not forget about the BASSIST!....Jimmy Haslip is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!...His bass tone is so Round and perfect ...he only solos in a couple of tunes and when he does,,WOW ,,his lines are amazing ...One of My FAVORITE Bassists....BUY THIS DVD!!

  • Chad's a great drummer.. but he changed the feel and it's just not the same. Hit the snare on every beat damnit! .. Tony would be turning in his grave..

  • this is a typical Allan's solo...the "glissando" mode is really wonderful, after almost 30 years he's keeping on astonishing me for his creativity. That simply means that he's never stopping in his musical developments. He's a genius and a real kind person. My son offered him a cigarette and we talked after the show here in Italy

  • Holdsworth is such a great artist. As good as guitar playing has ever been...

  • Holdsworth is great!! Check out Daryll Dobson's reality check, some great lines!!

  • Must have. Thanks and great idea to put a teaser on youtube.

  • Great idea for Holdsworth and Pasqua to do the Tony Williams trib, but they need Lenny White on drums... he's probably the clsoest thing to Tony. Wackerman's a great player but NOTHING like Tony at all....

  • Woot I was there at Yoshis for three shows! Gotta get it!!!

  • Please play a whole song or I'll cry like a baby! Waaaaaaah...! WAAAAAAAAAAH!

  • he gets even better over the years. i thought that he is already perfect! he plays so clean and his fingers look like little hammers in this video! he is too good!!

  • LOL, I love how the camera really gets a good view on those little hammers. Actually, I love how the whole thing just comes off so smooth - it's like there's no friction between fingers and strings, they're all just kind of one system.

  • Me, too! This is as rich as it gets, folks.

  • yeah it's sounds pretty good! i promise you that i'll get a copy

  • I hate the fact that YouTube's compression makes it look like it is not in line with the audio. The actual video however - uncompressed - looks and sounds amazing!

  • How did you get the vid; I thought it wasn't released yet; although it's supposed to come out this month.
