@ippopaidi: I don't know. I have an 8 X 10 photo of Adrian from 1984, and it has has biography type stuff listed on the back of it, and it says that Adrian is Melvin while drunk. I own the DVD, I have heard that theory too.

hey man! Awesome video, but I think that Steve's first bass was a P-bass copy. I have the early days dvd and I think he mentioned that there, I'll look it up for you and then let you know! Good stuff man! Why was Bruce called: Conan the Librarian? Have you got any clue? Cheers for the video!

@rbnbassguitr: I also have the Early days DVD. But yeah, take a look for me, lol. -My guess is that Bruce was Named "Conan the Librarian", because he read lot's of books. He said that while they were in Nassau, there wasn't much to do, besides Drink, and play the game 'Connect 4". lol

Wasn't said in the early days, but my friend has some bassplayer magazines as I think it was called and there Steve talked about his basses and his first one was a P-bass copy. And I believe it was white. Did you know that Nicko was the strange guy in the Flight Of Icarus video?

Haha, quite cool man. I already knew a few of these but a few others were quite a suprise! Plus, i always thought Martin "Starfish" Birch was Melvin? I'm pretty sure H did earn that nickname too though, bloody legends the lot of 'em.

@Skelarot: I believe they both had that nick name. I remember Ross Haflin the photographer said they called Martin Birch Melvin. And I have seen from 2 different sources they called Adrian 'Melvin, when he drank. haha Cheers!
