Well if this is the original music they intended for this commercial, i'm glad they changed it. Not that it's bad, at all.. i just like the final version alot more.
i have to disagree with some people below, i think the strings fit really well. I am thinking about getting that software to compliment my scoring on digital performer.
I think he used, the settings in tutti, for orchestra string march and he probably had tutti orchestra strings sus and orchestra string march. The reverbs sound quick so its probably a fast reverb. I would recommend this product for anyone, my music I made with this software, go to my myspace site on my youtube profile.
I saw both of the custom soundtracks for this ad, and your definitely excels. The only spot that wasn't perfect was around 0:55. Overall, a great job though.
That was excellent Jesse. Very impressed. I use Motu Sumphonic myself. Can I ask what instrument presets you used for that. I could hear the choirs in there, wondering about the strings. Yeah, again that was really good. A minor suggestion (btw strings are clearly the answer not a piano) when the music stops just as the light hits those two spheres and the car appears, how about a key change? It would just ramp things up to announce the car's appearence. P.S I loved the chime at the end.
I bet the instruments used were that of the Yamaha brand.
