Mafia II - Hard to Kill Trophy / Achievement

I got this trophy during Chapter 10. I used Joe and Marty for backup.

Easiest method is just using an armored van. I stole one, run over some police and other people and then let it stand between two police cars with them firing away at the van. Then I simply waited and listened to some music on my laptop lol

just get wanted4 and steal an armored car,you will survive the bullets and at wanted level 4 cops won't try to get you out of your vehicle.

I did it at an edge of a highway... it was out of the way and all I had to do was poke my head out every few seconds while the cop with the tommy gun fired away.

Easiest way is to get an  Armoured truck run over some cops and civvies thend rive around for ten minutes with them chasing you. the truck is invincible and bulletproof.

damn it i just got a car and went to a long road and got the police behind me for 10 fucking mins but it was 3 stars! "the police wants you dead" what the fucking kinda explanation is that!? at 3 stars they use handguns to "KILL" me...At 4 stars, they still tryin to kill me but only with 1928 thompsons!

I found a security truck, I got in it and I just ran over people and cops until I got level 4, and just sat there until I got the achievement lol

@BlazeKenny free roam is within the campaign. if you dont want to go to the places to continue the chapter, just roam around empire bay.

I just sat in a truck and let them shoot at me until the 10 minutes are up. if you far enough away they don't chase you.

I got this achievement by accident when I was just messing around having fun. Then again I play on PC so I can aim much faster with a mouse.

@CJxDeath *!!!SPOILER!!!* Yeah, when he says "Joe wasn't part of the deal" The car Joe was in was being taken somewhere secluded to kill Joe. It's quite a shame, too because Joe was my favorite character. Maybe Mafia III will have you play as Joe after the events of Mafia II and have him try to kill the guys who were about to kill him...? Idk.

@CJxDeath Idk if it's related to Mafia 2, probably not because there's a 10/20 year gap in the times that they both take place, and I'm pretty sure it's not on 360 because Mafia 1 is old as hell. I think the 360 is backwards compatible(meaning you can play original Xbox games on the Xbox 360) But I'm not entirely sure, so don't quote me on that.

there is a much easier way find a Sherbert Armored Van and piss the cops off then park with the back of the vehical to the cops and sit there 4 10 mins u will be hit a few times but DONT panic u will not be killed

Dude, just get into the Armored Money Truck. Get the cops on you with a 5 star heating and go by Mikes Junkyard. Hit that street, drive up an down that street while the cops are still shooting at you. Do that for 10 minutes and you easily get the trophy

LISTEN GLAD VERY SIMPLE , GET LEVEL 4 WANTED, AND FIND ACROSS THE ARMOURED VAN RUNNUNG AROUND IN DOWNTOWN, JUST DRIVE AROUND IN THAT VAN FOR 10 MINS.

P.S - THE COPS MUST BE AWARE THAT IT IS YOU IN THE VAN, SHOW URSELF TO THEM BEFORE YOU GET IN, AFTER THAT IT S VERY SIMPLE, NO GUNFIRE CAN KILL YOU.

@Stealth995 Im not too sure if you can go into bars when wanted but Yes just get your wanted level up to Four, piss off the cops, and sit in an armored van. I killed one or two and parked the vehicle a few yards away and angled it so that the I wouldnt be hit with gunfire. I charged my controller while doing this achievment.

lol this acheivment is easy without an armored car. just stock up on weapons and shoot everybody. One time I ended up killing everyone on the freeway until my ammo ran out. you can just shoot the gas tank and make barracades of burning cars so you don't get hit by cops doing a tommy gun drive by. Its just too bad the wanted level coulnt go up higher.

I got the Hard to Kill without being wanted in the end =) I used the armoured vehicle, let the police have it at it until I got the achievement, then I shook 'em off, got out of the car and could walk away as a free man :)
