not honestly expecting a reply here but we'll see what happens. ive struggled over the past year with guitar playing and it seems like when i sit down to practice i just play the same old stuff until i get bored. im stuck in the aeolian mode and mode and the same licks over and over. cant seem to get outa my little box. any help would be appreciated from andy or from anyone...thanks

@MrPhenomenal7 Learn songs. Another thing you could try is just major pentatonic. Take the same "box" shape and move it down three frets so the second note is the root of the first box. Then try more major stuff.
