  • This Show was the best Show in tv. I missed the Show so much .. I look the Show all 2 moths, because all another Shows aren't like o.c. .. And marissas death is sad and let me cry in 2012.. Fuck writers and producers !!

  • will never not cry at this

  • Still gonna cry till the day I die....

  • No matter what I still cry saddest moment ever

  • T.T

  • Still crying in 2012...

  • Everytime i put the video I start crying like crazy. :'(

  • still crying in 2012...

  • This show died right along with Marissa. I know a lot of people hated her - but hate the writers. THEY abused the Marissa character for drama and essentially used the character up. Even if MBarton had stayed on the show, the character had nowhere else to go. The writers refused to mature her and kept using Marissa for plot driven nonsense.

  • still sad in 2012....

  • if i was ryan i'd kill volchok...

  • i can barely watch this part. this will forever be my favorite show!!

  • omggg :'(

  • marissa and ryan there are amazing

  • fucking Volchok

  • No matter how many times I watch this show I still ball my eyes out at this scene.. No show can ever compare to The O.C. <3

  • nooou=(( why this happened , this is so wrong;(

  • i love taylor cuz shes hilarious but lets be honest it will always be mirissa n ryan!!! so sad she dies!!!

  • and she never came back..

  • Taylor it's too Marissa i think this serie is the best of the Word ! NICE! :D

  • how is it possible for me to cry every time i see this clip? i mean ten minutes ago i was happily living my life but now im sittin here crying my guts out!

  • @Queenmarythesecond I feel you right now im crying like a baby, how come a tvshow affects your life just like that?Seriously,i get like involved in this show like it was my own life.Thats just sick.

  • @Jannii91 its long after your post, but I like to tell you something nevertheless: OC is a story about the everturning wheel of destiny, about passing on the gift of humanity. In this constellation Marissa was not the goal Ryan was to achieve (whilest his father and MArissas mother do!). Marissa stands for the misfortune and failure Ryan originates from: he had to leave it (her) behind and pass on the gift to that boy (in the very last moments of the very last episode) who is noone but Ryan.

  • I've watched this scene at least ten times and I still cry every single time.

  • i blame johnny for the death of marissa. if it wasn't for him, ryan and marissa would still be together and never even met volchok.

  • I don´t enjoy this video ! This moment is so unhappy. I just can be sad.

  • The o.c. died with marissa. I never watched the season four and i never will!

  • i don't get why they had to kill marissa. :| i know mischa wanted out, but they could have had marissa go to greece with her dad and then have her visit for like 2 or 3 episodes in s4 and have her and ryan be reunited in the series finale or something!

  • :'(

  • I love O.C but honestly since they killed Marissa it pretty much went to shit

  • still crying in 2011...

  • omg

  • I loved the scenes mix up with music. ''Baby I was here before'' and they showed all the times when Ryann carried Marrisa on hes hands

  • I've never cried so much like with this scene! Bring The O.C. and Marissa back!!

  • i will never understand why they killed her off smh

  • I think that if Marissa never died, we still watching The OC on tv !

  • i disliked this.. ONLY because marissa shouldn't have died. i don't think i've ever cried this much watching something than when i saw this for the first time.

  • F this she died she is one of the best actress in this show why did she have to die!!!!!!!!!

  • I cry when I see this scene, and I'm a boy.

  • OOoohh look at me, look at me, i'm dying... DIE ALREADY!

  • @PhantomAct fuck off.

  • It's actually very sad, but I cried more the first time I watched this scene than when my grandpa died. The O.C. was a huuuge part of my life, and even now, after having watched about 25 shows, Ryan and Marissa is still my favorite couple.

  • One of those few moments of television that really have made me shiver, my eyes soaked into tears, and at the same time I just can't stop watching. This is magic at its best.

  • @agegerfelt It's so sad when Marissa tells Ryan that he should be every time I see the tea here section as I begin to cry in is so perfect together why would she die why did Ryan never Marissa what he really felt for her it would have been so good if he said it in this episode, what do you think

  • How it's even possible that is only #24 ??

  • This makes me cry everytime I watch it, I am also a guy.

  • akes me sad for two reasons. 1.) Marissa dying and 2.) the show going down the drain afterwards.

'twas an amazing three seasons ♥

Yes, I know there were four seasons, I purposely left the fourth out because it was such crap! :D

  • I bawl every single time I watch this!!!! It's such an amazing/sad/beautiful/heartbreaking scene. She knew she was dying and didn't want be alone :'(

I wasn't too fond of the character of Marissa, I actually kind of hated her. She was far too dramatic and annoying. But you have to admit, when she died, the entire series died as well. It became so ridiculous afterwards and the story lines became ever MORE unbelievable. And Taylor, ugh, don't even get me started on her!!!!!!

    So re-watching this m

  • :'(

  • Everytime I see that scene, I cry. One of OC's best music moments that's for sure !

  • Probably the saddest scene that will ever touch a television scene in the history of our time...

  • they never really got closure, never really said how they feel i think ryan should have said he loved her before she died

i think ryan and Marissa was the couple everyone wanted to see live happily ever after MORE than seth and suMMer

  • OMG #1!!!

  • :'(

  • never thought i'd see atwood cry :( i love them more than anything <3

  • Even if Marissa were alive in season 4, I think the show still would have been cancelled after 4 seasons. The show's ratings were getting worse and worse each season. And to be honest season 1 was by far the best season (especially season 1 pre-Oliver). The show steadily went downhill after season 1.

  • @wessneijder87 I don't think so. I think the writing was MUCH better in season 4 (although in my mind, s3 was still better just because Marissa was in it) & since it got so much better, I think the ratings would have gone up. The plotlines in s4 were really interesting, besides Ryan and Taylor (but that's just because I can't stand seeing him with anyone besides Marissa!). If Marissa would have been in s4, it would've been amazing. Maybe even a love triangle b/w Ryan, Marissa, and Taylor? Idk xD

  • A lot of people hated when they killed off Marissa, and don't hate me for saying this, but I don't know, I never really liked her that much. I agree it's not the the O.C without her, but I still love this series from start to finish...

    Forever OC <3

  • I haven't rewatched this scene since it first aired, but I watched it today for some reason I'm not really sure of and God, the tears are streaming. It's so beautiful. This is the true ending of the show. Ryan and Marissa never stopped loving each other, and it's so obvious in this scene. "Stay. Don't leave." "Okay." </3

  • omg i have cryed so much because she died oh man so sad

  • The true story behind the o.c ended here. So to me this is the series finale

    r.i.p the O.C <3

  • CANNOT. EVEN.

  • tearjerker scene...marissa cooper will allways live as long as the true fans keep loving O.C.!!!

  • COOL GUYS DONT LOOK AT EXPLOSIONS!!!!

  • I was devastated after this episode.Numb lol

  • clearly the most touching moment of our favourite TV show...and clearly there are 14 fellas without HEART......

  • why did she dieee :(( this is so sad oh my god i am so inlove and if my girlfriend dies i am going to have a no pointless die why the hell :(((((

  • season 1 i love the season when ryan and marissa first meet

  • I remember seeing this episode and how much i cried not believing Marissa really died and since then the show has been dead for me. there was this hole in season four expecting her to fill any minute..weird but really true ..hoping every episode that she will just show up from no where and then seeing romance bet Ryan and Taylor was just breaking my heart,,.. season 1 was my favorite and Seth is my favorite character <3<3<3

  • Such a great scene. The flashbacks to Ryan carrying Marissa to the pool house and in Mexico. Then the song "baby I've been here before." Ryan had been there before, carrying her, thinking she could die in Mexico. Sad to see her go. Wish they had one last chance to lay their feelings out on the table.

  • It´s so sad!!

I cried a lot wacthing this scene...

    I still cry!

  • VOTE UP IF YOU WANT THE OC TO COME BACK

  • I'm sorry but 'hallelujah' Really? Do I detect a subliminal message here? xD

  • This is the saddest scene ever!!!!

everytime I watch this or any the oc scenes I just hope marissa not die that time :(

  • Gosh. Whenever I see that freakin scene I just keep thinkin she could make it. But apparently I'm wrong.

  • Marissas dead ruined the show.

  • The saddest thing is that when she died they were just friends.. :\ I didnt watch Season 4 its pointless.. No marissa no o.c.

  • @excLusiive12 so true

  • @excLusiive12 Thats what i tought to.. But then i realized i cant be without O.C so i watched season 4.. Its not the same without Marissa but the O.C is special somehow, not like other TV-Shows, so i had to watch it and it was great.

  • @JustJust87 yeah thats what i realized too and thats why i downloaded seasn 4 xD

  • @excLusiive12 Haha xD Have you seen all episodes yet?

  • @JustJust87 no just the first 4 of em.. their not that bad its just that when ur use to see marissa and now suddenly taylor it sucks u kno ;p

  • @excLusiive12 Haha yeah I know :P

  • I remembered the first time I saw this episode, It was sooo sad ! I almost cried, not to say I did cry. I know, it's a just a TV show, but the director made a really good job to made us feel so emotional.

  • I stopped watching O.C when Marissa died. i know it wont be the same without her ok

  • i never even watched the oc and that just made me cry....

  • @august22CATS The O.C. is better than any of the crap they make these days like one tree hill and 90210. Watch it and im sure you will like it, as has everyone else who has watched it.

  • <3

  • very very very sad

  • this scene makes me cry though i've seen it so many times

  • this scene makes me cry though i've seen it so many times

  • i cant` cry right now

    this scene is hard core

  • they have a sort of Romeo and Juliet relationship....forever lovers....but tragically not meant to be

  • as much as i found marissa annoying, the show just sucked without her. Like there was a hole left that nothing could fill

  • I still watch this show when it's on Soap net and I have all 4 seasons.

  • this makes me always cry

  • Oh, god. He loved her so much. You can tell he never stopped, and neither did she.

  • Ryan and Marissa forever :( Get out Taylor!

  • @julianabgarcia agree

  • why is this not number 1?

like is it even a question?

  • i think it would make more sense if coop and ryan were together when she dies..

  • for me... i like marissa and alex.... i really like them... they are a perfect couple... ^^

  • marissa and ryan are meant to be together and i hate everytime they are not anymore...

  • damn! I thought I was over it! :(((

  • This was the most depressing moment in life. I was so sad while watching this show because at the beginning they are all happy and then marissa dies :'( and the episode afterwards is even sadder... They are the saddest two episodes in the whole oc. And taylor will never replace marissa. She's a wannabe marissa.

  • The O.C. was be forever live!!! thanks to us!!!

    was giving comments!!! 2010....

  • Comment removed

  • this still is so sad..

  • Although the show like sucked after marissa died, this scene is nice.

  • It's hard to find a more depressing scene then this. And it's even harder to explain why so many people cry when it's just a series and not real life. All I can say is that I haven't cried so much in my entire life before... By the way, thumbs up people for: TheOCmylife!

  • most depressing moment of my life.

  • @JKoscheck

    <_<

  • I cry everytime I see this

  • when i see it again i must cry.

  • i wasz literally crying

  • that was beautiful

i never really watched the show, but learning about it through these best moments youtube clips I'm starting to love it

plus this made me tear up

    <3

  • it didnt sink in that her character died til the next day when i was telling my mom and i started CRYING. lol it was embarrassing :S

but fuck this show felt SO REAL to me.

  • @wetdream09

    i hate you so much

  • this scene makes me cry everytime. No matter if I see this 58945845392 times... a tear will always fall on my cheeck.

  • The OC died with Marissa.

  • @theglamouresque You're so right.

  • so true!

  • @theglamouresque Nah. Season 3 was shit but 4 was great.

  • @theglamouresque the 4th season was not so good as we expected to be but the is one thing i got to tell you... THE OC WILL NEVER DIE..IT WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEART...

  • the show died after this moment. i honestly think Mischa Barton dating that ugly rich kid Brandon was the result of her "wanting to move on to bigger and better things" and decided it was time to leave the show... she had no consideration what it would do to Marissa's adoring fans and the rest of the O.C. fans.

  • What really gets me is that flashack when Sandy and Ryan are driving away and Ryan looks back at her with the sunlight behind her; that's when the tears start falling. :( I miss Marissa

  • @ImWithTheVampyres gahh, that's when I started bawling. such an amazing show. :(

  • this is hard to watch. Even though you know how it's going to turn out, you're still praying to god that she stays alive.

  • You just can't compare Taylor to Marissa i mean seriously i feel like after marissa's death the show turned into a completely different world yes it was still the oc but they like tried to create a whole new cute/romantic relashionship with ryan&taylor as if marissa never existed as if Taylor was ''the one'' for Ryan but they were not meant to be Ryan & Marissa were they're relationship was intense and they saved each ryan will never love anybody like he loved marissa because they were true love

  • @foxymily what do you mean as if marissa never existed, they spent most of that season on ryan trying to get over marissa and eventually it turns into marrissas mom and ryans dad getting together and having a baby, so wtf??

  • @foxymily Fully agreed ;)

  • I was in middle school when I started watching this series, and when I heard that they were going to leave the show, I was distraught. Then I saw this, and I was cussing throughout the whole time. Why let her die?! Marissa was getting on my nerves, especially in the 3rd season, but that's not her fault. The writers made her the messed up girl. And Ryan and Taylor? Puh-lease! Still a good song choice (gave me chills).

  • Something dawned on me while watching this: Ryan got his "wish" and was the last one to see Marissa....I know, that's not funny, I just thought it was kinda ironic.....This entire scene was just heartbreaking, especially the look on his face when he was carrying her, and then him crying and holding her when she died :(....Taylor was OKAY, but Ryan will never love anyone like he loved Marissa....they were soulmates and just simply meant to be :D <3

  • Imogen heap does a lot of songs for them.

  • I haate this scene,I loooved them so much, and wtf?she died?thats so unfair!why she had to die?she ws my fav in the oc and of course ryan,I haaate josh schwartz,I loooove marissa!

  • @BrookeAndHaleyFan marissa got all fat in real life lol

  • I love Imogen Heap rendition of this song and I was so happy when Marissa was gone.

  • @VelvetGunpowder oh my god! thank you. I've been wondering who sung this version for yearrrrrsssssss! much appreciated!

  • i was sad to see marissa go but season 3 had become very depressing with her, i dont think it was fair that the o.c. ended just cuz her char did, although i did like her i loved taylor.

  • i am so speechless .. it is like i was there and parf of me has gone with her ..

  • without*

  • most.horrible.moment.in.the.oc.ever.

    still makes me cry, everytime.

it deff was not the same with marissa,

but i LOVED the fourth season still.

  • she actually died on the set when they filmed this.

  • @Brandonlohaus2 Phhahahahaha are u normal ? :D:D

  • I think it's the first that Ryan is crying in the show ... Too sad

  • I still have a grudge against Volchock till this day for causing Marissa's death.

  • taylor is the closest girl to love after marissa ... i think marissa would be happy to see rayn happy again

  • When Marissa died, the O.C fan died with her! never the same after the death of marrisa!

  • When she dies, I die.

  • OH cmon you people she was mental. she tried to kill herself more than once, she was always ALWAYS getting with the wrong guys, the wrong places, the wrong times. she was a trainwreck! and she was always falling, fainting, o.d.-ing! it got to a point where we were all sick of her sorry pathetic life.

  • Such a great cover. I wonder how many noticed this mirrors season one with Jeff Buckely's cover. Also, why did this track get taken off Mix 6? It was originally suposed to be featured according to the credits.

  • Its so sad in the end when hes holding her body and you know that hes crying over her. really sad

  • Marissa and Ryan are the best cable in the show, but Ryan and Taylor are the bad thing in the show. I love Marissa very

  • It's not a crappy death scene people! Ryan and maybe Marissa didn't expect her death. If she would have I think she would have said something and she also just suffered severe head trauma; she could barely talk. Even if she did feel death coming for her, maybe the last thing she wanted to see was Ryan's face. Also, Ryan has never been big with words so it would've bee weird for me to see him say something back, other than hang in there/gotta get help.

  • I really can't watch this, it's just too sad. The song is so fucking intense. ahhh

  • this was like the saddest damn thing ever..i balled my eyes out and then i was mad as hell..how could they kill off marissa..i mean seriously wtf..no offence on taylor i like her and all but it was suppose to be Marissa and Ryan and now she is gone and hell we don't even have the show n e more :(

  • The name of the song please ????

  • @alexpettyfer Hallelujah;)

  • @Jayftjoy Thhankkk youuu :)

  • Is it me or this scene makes everyone cry?
