Regarding any similarity to Pink Floyd's 'Run Like Hell': I rode my motorcycle in the snow (OK, flurries...) to see 'The Wall' at the Nassau Coliseum in 1979. I also bought the cassette tape of the Freddie Jones album which had this tune on it. I NEVER heard any similarity. I pride myself in tracking 'rip-offs'. Ergo; YOU ARE AN IMMENSE ASS-MONKEY.
Amazing song and great band, but they sound like crap here. Mr. sound man wasn't on duty, and the drummer played the beat way too slow, which got everyone off during the guitar solo. Again, a great live band, but this wasn't their best effort.
@cupcakesansfrontier The only similarities I see between this song and Run Like Hell is the fact that they're both in the key of D and they both do a descending riff, along with the delay effect. Other than that, I don't see how this song could be a rip off. Peace.
used to crank this song in my old Wrangler with the top down, exploring the mountain roads of upstate NY & Vermont...great memories and simply an amazing song!
I saw the Freddy Jones Band perform this tune 16 years ago in Sacramento, CA, and loved it then as I love it now. Nice job of getting the new performance out for us to enjoy. Well filmed!

Still one of the coolest guitar effects intros I've ever heard from any band. Always sounded like U2 to me
