i looked it up. the top speed for a 1951 volkswagen beetle is 60 MPH. i bet you'd need a lot of road to go that fast. you were right on the horsepower; 25.

but in 1953 you could buy an okrasa performance set or a judson (supercharger) wich gave you about 40 hp for the okrasa and 50 hp for the judson,my dad owns a 52 standard with a judson and it reaches about 130 km/h
