Stevens was dirty... and dirty player who took cheap shots on unsuspecting players. The reason why you have headshots in the league nowadays his is because the NHL played these fucking shots on loop. I didn't like them scott stevens and I don't like them now. Anyone who also says this is "old time hockey" or "when hockey was tough" is an absolute moron.

#8, #7, #5, and Kariya's hit were all head shots. Kariya's hit was one of the dirtiest hits I've ever seen, his elbow hits him right in the head a good second and a half after he passes the puck. Honestly, if you can look at that replay and say that Stevens didn't know he was going to injure him, you're blind. He could have let up but he knew Kariya was their best player so he decides to hit him to injure That hit ruined his career, he was never the same after it.
