addictive drums is not in this class... addictive drums do sound good and you can get very realistic results from them... but BFD is at the top of its class... I feel its the best of all the drum software... coming in second is toontrack products and the abbey road series drums by native instruments-as well as ocean way drums and reason drumkits 2. There are many realistic drum sample libraries these days... its just a matter of preference... no sense arguing quality they are ALL great quality

BDF2 is such a killer. It sounds much more realistic and natural than any other DS, for example Superior Drummer or Addictive Drums. The point is rather that you have to practice mixing drums if you like to work with BDF or BDF2.

This is too much. I downloaded superior drummer 2, but uninstalled it. I just used Battery 3 and Addictive drums along with the session drummer that comes free with my Sonar 8 PE. Of course this is very good drum sounds, but compare to addictive drums it is not that much better. Battery 3 is the one that really had all the percussion sound.

@NathanLee0921 I'm glad to hear that. So BFD 2 is prob. better than AD, but only by so much? I was more impressed with BFD drums than cymbal sounds, but hard to tell over the net. Wish there was a demo. Eco looked cool, but prob. just end up wanting more.
