I like the presentation of the mophie juice pack. My question is if I charge the mophie battery do you think It charge the built it iphone battery at the same time? Because I don't want to take it off and put it back on because it gives me a protection for my iphone at the same time.

Turn the power switch to on.

thats not what i mean. it wont charge when i have it connected to an external power source and niether will it charge when connnected to my computer. it doesnt sync either. this is my second case. idk if this is a problem but my iphone is jailbroken. ive also tried other iphones.

with the cable inserted, slide to unlock the iphone and it should begin charging.

your an idiot the spaces at the bottom are used for the speaker and microphone....without them you would not be able to use the main function of the iphone---actually using the phone....

Finally a well done and to the point review on an iPhone accessory. It's refreshing to see a real world review, honest opinion and a comparison of other products as opposed to seeing 12 minutes of unboxing, supplier plugs and other irrelevant info. i think those gaps at the bottom are so that you can hear the speaker better, and so the mic isn't completely covered

I'm surprised you liked the fit of the Juicepack Air. I have the white one like yours, and find the huge gaps on the side between the top and bottom pieces to be very annoying. Perhaps it's less pronounced on yours than mine. Mine also has back-piece isn't glued to the sides of the bottom symmetrically, making it less than attractive.

By the way, the gap at the bottom is Mophie's way of not blocking the microphone and speaker at the bottom. All Mophie's are the same. InCase better.

Great review Larry. Looks good minus the the bottom. They should have molded it to the shape of the phone. That is a little odd that it is shaped like that it seems as if it may collect lint in the gaps. Cool that it syncs with the included cable.
