  • Lol can somebody tell marlon to sit down lol I like but he is always doing some extra shit!

  • And the triumph tour better than the victory tour, please. Michael was at the hottest point of his career at the time of the victory tour.

  • Im getting so sick and tired of ppl putting down Marlon. He did not try and copy Michael. Marlon was the choreographer of the group u know. He was an incredible dancer who taught himself how to dance and was an excellent compliment to Michael on stage. they had great chemistry. Just because Michael was larger than life and in a class by himself, it doesnt call for a putdown of Marlon. He loved Mike very much. And 01qian, God bless u because everything u said about my idol is true.

  • WOW...AMAZING!

  • I'm 37, and my little cousin went to a show on this tour with his mom. Still envious.

  • I have some inside information here, the VICTORY tour will never ever be released, i can,t divulge where i got the information, only to say it has something to do with Don King and Michael,s hatred of the man and what he would stand to gain. If it was released then, it would totally go against Michaels wishes. The Triumph tour was a much better tour in my opinion and people should push for it,s release.

  • @marxell112 Or Bad?

  • @marxell112 I AGREE WID YOU 1000%

  • Name one person who can perform better than Michael Jackson - past or present. Now, he truly had the total package.

  • THIS BOY BETTA SING!!!!!!! like i said a thousand times b4, NOBODY DOES IT LIKE A "JACKSON"!!!!!

  • man marlon looks like he's copying michael! i cant stand it is he even noticing?!

  • Marlon does often try to copy michael, but michael has often complimented marlon on his energy on stage and credited him for coming up with the famous finger point dance move that the jacksons are so famous for, so maybe we should cut marlon some slack.

  • @marxell112 o ok thanks for the info! lol so marlon came up with that finger point? cool...

  • Classic tour saw them in dallas in 84

  • @lenny536 really, lucky. i so wish i was born early. alot amazing happened before my time

  • dvd dvd dvd dvd dvd dvd dvd please

  • @mjcork88 Great thought! I wish I knew where we could write to let someone know we want this on DVD! Hey, how about Katherine Jackson, Encino, California. Sooner or later she'd see our letter, right?

  • GOD how can one MOVE like that? It's simply supernatural!!!

i mean how often have i seen him dance and i still can't believe it...

  • Michael is the only artist who can actually sing LIVE and sound damn near exactly like the orignial recording!

  • @Ladymodel You're right about that. I haven't seen anybody come close and it's been like 30+ years since this unmatchable performance. That's the mark of a true legend.

  • marlin trying to do everything MJ is doing and tryin too hard, lol... that's the king!

  • no one can do this.. many will try but they will fail..this man was born to be the only one of his kind.and we must see this for what it is...he s gifted and he worked very very hard to accomplish all he did.. and he set the standard that is still to be bettered by anyone and so many years have passed.

The King is gone now.. but will never be forgotten.People will always wanna be like Michael Jackson.

  • wow he sounds the same live as he does when its on vinyl or whatever cant say that about the artist these days!!!

  • i saw them when they came to j'ville, their mother, latoya and if i'm not mistaken Patti Labelle was in attendance. The sweetie that Michael was let underpriviledged children attend the concert for free !

  • I was at this concert he was amazinggggggggggggggggg.

    Love you Moonwalker for always.................

  • @1Heart4MJ goodness, you can't imagine how jealous i am of you...i was born way too late... :'(

  • But on the bad side: it was totally lip-synced that tour (History)

  • @FijneWIET always criticising !! to have MJ in front of you was enough!!!

  • @JACKMJJ :) I must admit he danced and moved... like from another planet... the best

  • Comment removed

  • @FijneWIET thank you !!! RIP MJ

  • @FijneWIET Mj never lip synced....ever.

  • @shoalinagent I think you find that to be very incorrect.

  • @Stenbrotsgatan I stand corrected, not only motown 25 but the history tour and various other performances including mtv '95. Sorry for the ignorance on my part.

  • @FijneWIET he was sick, you can be happy he even performed

  • He did all the job : without MJ it would suck !!

  • @JACKMJJ NEGATIVE ! MJ DID NOT do all the work...team work makes the dream work...but you right, without MJ, the energy wasn't the same

  • LOL!!!! at 4:06

  • Any person that got to see Michael Jackson live I am extremely jealous of.

  • @Yellow4494 So be jealous of me !! (I saw him during the history tour)

  • @JACKMJJ so? I did too!

    (Holland, Amsterdam Arena)

  • Heartbreak hotel : Written, composed, and arranged by Michael Jackson.

    That bloody genius.

  • He will always be a genius. ;) Especially with all the crap today, i don't think any artists will ever come close to Mike. Or outsell thriller. Unless the world goes into pure insanity and decides all the crap to come is considered real and good music.

  • PERFECT !!! I LOVE THIS !! How in the world did michael keep on SINGING with all that dancing, jumping and carrying on !! Michael Jackson, we miss you !!!

  • 4:07 lol

  • incredible performance :D

  • i look at these young performers now and they can't even walk and sing at the same time without being out of breath. The work ethic was sooo different from the older generation. They loved what they did and had a purpose behind their music.!!!! It was not about money or looking "cool" There will never ever be anyone that will touch Michael Jackson in entertainment. R.I.P Mike love you!

  • there will never b another man in this life as talented and so misunderstood as michael jackson every time i see something with him or reminds me of him i feel so sad here was a man that started so many trends and help so many and because of a few bad money hungry jealous hearted people his life was tormented and he was made fun of i pray that he is at peace and that he now if he never did knw that the world will always mourn and miss him RIP / M.J

  • @01qian what a nice thing to say... u r so right

  • Who is the person singing lead and dancing on this song???

  • this performance is one of the reasons why this man is the greatest live performer of all time

  • Marlon always in the way ! lol

  • amazing stage presence

  • The Jacksons music was so great.

  • it has nothing to do with elvis... there is a video here on youtube witch explains this song... can't remember what video it was...

  • @Hiryanto This song is about a groupie. And it shows his paranoia about groupies. He wrote about this a lot in his career, Songs such 'Billie Jean', Dirty Diana', Blood on the dance floor', 'dangerous'. He explored this theme a lot in songs, your right its nothing to do with Elvis who btw never wrote a song in his life.

  • @MsDimplecheeks Elvis...who is that? :P

  • @Dom20002007 lol exactly

  • Man twenty-eight trucks to carry that stage! WOW! All for Micheal!

  • Orange bowl?

  • Orange bowl?

  • man he's really good XD phenomenal XD

  • mmm so sexy when he slaps his butt at 4:07

  • in this song his vocals is powerful in any other songs i've heard him in live love it

  • it is on Triumph by the Jacksons in 1980

  • Can someone tell me what album this is on?

  • @donda28

Some say the Elvis estate complained so the name was changed to This Place Hotel

  • sound is great but picture is not so clear

  • THE OLD QUALITY MAKES IT MORE EPIC.

  • I bet after Off the Wall, Michael got sick of his brothers.....

  • @MissPYT95 nah he still loved them, but he felt that he should move on. he didnt get sick of them during his 30th anniversary now did he? lol

  • @mrm64 well i read his book, and after the victory tour he said that he did not want to do anything else with his brothers(For a while),but the probably did the 30th thing because he hadn't performed with them in a long time

  • @MissPYT95 mm-hmm. i do like when they sing together though.

  • what it's the real name of this song, Heartbreak Hotel or This Place Hotel?

  • Both... Yet, officially its this place hotel, since people thought he was trying to remake elvis's heartbreak hotel..

  • Okay...Marlon just needs to sit somewhere and let Michael dance...solo.

  • ........................moron................

  • victory tour dvd lads please

  • Is the Victory Tour out on dvd? i want it! and i love the 80's

  • he says party, or "par-teee'"

  • Someone please release a clear DVD of this concert please! So many of us want it......and the Triumph Tour.

  • @tgeighties - Feel like phoning SONY myself.

  • michael in his prime ..... legendery

  • I think he says party :)

  • what does he yell at 2:23 i been hearing him say that in a lot of concert can you rpy back

  • @polokidzgohard93 Right??

He say it in every concert and I never can discover what it is xD

  • He says OK!!!

  • @polokidzgohard93 I think he says "PARTY"

  • Comment removed

  • 1:33 - love 80s

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!, i mean just incredible...

  • Yo, Mike's voice is incredibly strong for all the running around he's doing on that stage... He was definitely young and vibrant! Too bad a lot of pop stars now who are that age or younger can't do the same thing... Long Live The King!

  • @Trimiliac He was doing this at 30 too(Bad Tour) and to a certain degree at the age of 34(dangerous tour).

  • Ha ha look at Marlon dancin just like Michael, Marlon was also a great dancer. The Jacksons were WAY ahead of their time. I wish I coulda went to their tours....

  • if you are a true fan of Michael you will love his brothers as well.

  • The Jacksons are so underrated!!! And so are a lot of their songs. They are too damn soulful!!! LOVE THEM!!!!!!

  • Their true fans no better! Love them too. Say them in NY.

  • It's funny how some of you call yourself fans then try and shit on his brothers.. Mike's prolly rolling around in his grave right now.

  • This isn't false information being posted here. There was a LOT of conflict that went on between the Jacksons during this Victory Tour, it started when Joseph and his brothers outvoted Michael and had that CROOK Don King promote the Victory Tour. All of the outrage about how the tickets were distributed came down on Michael.

There is file video from 1984 that shows this. Type in 'Tom Joyner Covers The Jacksons Victory Tour 2' in the search box and you all can see it for yourself

  • its funny how u guys are telling all this informoation about how mj felt about his brothers like u were right there with him ...seriously if u werent there then where did u get all htis inform from like his bro's were jealous ...... dont be like tabloid people ,basing things off of what u see .. seriously some of you guys werent even born and no more info than the ones that were born and went to the concert

  • Preach!

  • You guys are right about Michael not liking this tour because of Don King and his brother's outvoting him to RIP OFF Michael's fans by overpricing tickets and creating a mail-order lottery system. It is also believed that Michael and his brother's had such hostility towards each other that they rarely rehearsed together. That's why it appears as if Michael and Marlon look disorganized with Marlon just copying everything Michael does.

  • I'm sorry, but I think the brother behind Michael was over dancing to be in the background. I think that's why Michael moved away at the end. Watch the end. Michael never moves to the end of the stage at the end of a song, but he did! Love to my beautiful MJ family

  • thanks to this man i learn how to speak english

  • Such a MAGICAL PERFORMANCE !!!

Noone else on stage with such a vibrant CHARISMA as Michael.

He was the sweetest person ever who could sing from his heart and bring his loveable message to millions of fans.

HEARTBREAK HOTEL: one of their strongest songs with great rhythm, melody and beat.

    THANKS for posting.

This song is one of my favorites!

  • I think he didn't like doing tour because the show was organized by Don King or whomever and Michael knew he was a shark. I heard Michael say something like that about why he didn't wanna do the tour...I have to go back and see it again.

  • I have read that for The Victory tour u couldnt buy just one ticket , but four, and MJ was not agreeing with that, and it was very hard to get the ticket, one had to buy it through the post office and pay taxes too and they were expensive

  • Oh really? Wow, I didn't know that. Well yeah I guess it's true about Don King then....Michael had said his father wasn't good with business deals and money. I think that's why he left the money to his mother instead, so his father wouldn't do anything reckless with it.

  • I rememeber this whole ticket thing happening and the press. Michael was very upset about it all. Plus he had Thriller and Off the Wall and was ready to be on his own. He didnt want to do this tour at all but did for the fans. I'm glad he did because I saw him in NJ and it was great

  • @THEEingeniousNERD yea mike said he only toured for the fans, otherwise he wouldnt do em

  • Does he throw something at 3:12?

  • he was beyond gifted

  • ppl plz read the moonwalk book which is michael 1 and only book he wrote himself. well he had editers, but who wouldnt. anyways, he said he hated this tour. im not making this up. i think this is the only tour he hated, not bc he was w/ his brothers, but they didnt have time to organize n make it perfect. ( u know mike is a perfectionist)

  • i cld see why in the moonwalk book why he said he hated this tour. u could plainly see that they are all over the place. n this is not his standards. ppl watch clearly, not even in this clip, but every move he does marlon tries it 2. n it dsnt look right. read the moonwalk book n u cld see when he says he hated this tour, n dreaded 2 go on stage. but whn he's on stage he lights up. im not making this up. they should of gave him more time 2 put everything 2gether. they just rushed the man 2 tour!

  • I went to this concert back in '84 when I was a youngin. That concert was dope and Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 were on point. R.I.P. Michael Jackson you will be surely missed.

  • You're very lucky to have seen them!!!!

  • Isn't this in Chicago?

  • no its in miami

  • idk

  • I was born in 84, what a good year, lol. I love when mj goes heeee, whoooo, all of that stuff, lol. This song live sounds just like the recording.

  • They MUST release this on DVD!!!!!

  • Are there any clearer video's of The Victory Tour?

I'm just glad we have anything. Thank you for posting this!

  • There AIN'T any other artist singing so smooth and spotless LIVE like Mike did!!!!!! And all these indescribable emotions one gets while watching and listening to him, ONLY he could do that !!!

Mike always did the best of his bests when performing...........

    I misss MJPAN <3

  • Now this was a show. The Jacksons really knew how 2 bring it.

  • Michael is different than Beyonce and Justin...

Because Michael was more profitable as a solo artist... I don't know if the same can be said for Beyonce and Justin... Did they outsell their groups as solo artists???

  • "this is scarin' me" ugh love that part.(:

  • At least wait a minute after michael does a move marlon!DANG LOL :)

  • I love 2 see them all on stage 2gather

  • tHIS IS WHERE THE MAGIC LIES!!! When I saw them perform as a group, it outshined what they did as individuals. Yes, Mike and Jermaine has solo sucess but it was just something special to them all on stage. RELEASE THE DVD!!!.

  • Man i love dat dance mike and marlon do...i cannot figure out how to do it...DAMN IT!!!

  • its funny how people say Marlon was copying Michael when they came up with the dances together with the other boys... and for another "Did You Know" lol Michael has often said Marlon is a better dancer anywho i love them both Peace

  • OMG I just noticed Michael slaps his butt at 4:08 hee hee

  • OMFG i was just about to put a comment saying the exact sammee thingg LMAOO

  • I hope a full Victory concert shows up with crystal clear picture like Dangerous in Bucharest...or even the quality of Bad in Tokyo which is not bad.

  • I agree with marisue1 and hmsheppard, Michael was annoyed by his brothers by this time, but I think its only human to feel that way when you are placed in a position as such, meaning you have literally outgrown the group, like beyonce and justin timberlake did.

  • I saw the Victory Tour in Chicago. It was a breathe taking show! I'll never forget it!

  • your so lucky

  • LUCKY!! i wanst even alive i never got to see him at all. i wish i could of

  • @drsonwhy43 you're so luckyyyyy!

  • greatest entertainer of all time

  • Due to the fact of his family greed michael really hated the tours mike new everytime they tried to do it they wanted to charge money that would leave there fans broke.

  • I wish Mike couldn't did more together after his huge success i mean those are the people that u started with and on top of that they are ur brothers. They waited what 17years 2 perform together and which would be there last performance.I don't get it. if it was me I would've done reunion tours by now!! RIP MIKE

  • His brothers(well the whole family really!)were just using him to make money most of the time and to get their own fame. That's all Michael meant to them pretty much.Michael had some very good reasons not to trust any of them very much.He just wanted to be free from from his familys control...But of course they weren't nearly they only ones trying to control him. Most people around him only cared about his money. And I'm only on MJ's side in this all the way!

  • I know there was alot of craziness that went on. But no one can tell me is brothers and his whole family didn't love him they were just using him and never loved him. I know they all loved him very deeply and are truly heartbroken he is gone. We all hurt people we love because we are all human but they truly loved Michael and they loved him too!

  • MariaSue1: I agree. MJ was really doing this tour out of love for Kate. To do this tour when he obviously had outgrown his brothers, after "Thriller" had literally changed the music world and to take this giant leap backwards must have been torture for him. It was painfully obvious that his brothers were reduced to background players here. And it seemed Marlon was in competition to grab the spotlight from MJ. That's why MJ said it was all over at Dodger Stadium on that last night of the tour.

  • they played at dodger stadium? Woa!! I go there all the ttime :D

  • Thank you for posting this. I went to the 2 Victory shows that were held at the Miami Orange Bowl back in Nov 1984. This was my first concert ever.

  • i cant hear the crowd reaction tho

  • i love this song!

  • this is a cool video i like this song

  • I love them always and forever....

  • It's not fair that he is no longer here.

    We miss you, Michael.

  • I mean they were what 18 and 21 when I was 6.

  • For me it always was Michael and Marlon who were they hottest and sexiest of the group. Tito always reminded me of my Uncle because he favors him and Randy was always just as cute as can be. Jackie and Jermanie to me at the time were to old good looking but too old.

  • Haha.. I wasn't even thought of...

Damn, being born in 1990 is a real bummer when you're in love with Michael Jackson.

  • i feel u on that one but i was born in 88 that still sucks

  • Michael has the best stage presence known to man! I really know that he was born to be an entertainer. The energy the voice, the dancing and the gestures he makes, brings grown men to tears! it's really remarkable the way he could captivate and audience and totally spellbound people with his performances. Thank God for Youtube! Michael will live on forever and we can visit his performances regularly RIP Michael, your greatly missed.. WE LOVE YOU..

  • they was always togather a very strong family

  • Okay my mistake...looks like Randy is doing double duty, but Jackie is still the sexiest!

  • Jackie is there doing double duty on the back up and piano, and yes although Michael will always be my fav, Jackie has always been the sexiest.

  • He had megatalent!!

  • best part for me is in 3:10

  • jackie is sexxxy! i dont think he's there tho.. but he's the finest one besides michael!! and malron & jackie r the best dancers after the king of course!!

  • best part at 2:58

  • haha. he caught the holy ghost!

(idk if you know that term though. lol)

  • Michael does catch that holy ghost whenever he on stage. lol.

  • lolllll...I noticed that too...haha

  • You ever notice how some of the other Jacksons try to copy off of Michael and dance like him?

  • Now I give credit where credit is due they could all dance there ass off. Especailly Marlon and Jackie Randy. Always could Michael is just in a class all by himself though! But they were all excellant dancers from the jump!

  • I guess since Michael is the lead singer and all the attention is focused on him it's hard to recognize the others's talents and dancing. You have a real good point though, thanks!

  • Is that uncommon? They are brothers!!! Marlon & Michael put the moves together for the show and they have been dancing together for 25 yrs so it wouldn't be odd that the moves are similar. So it's really not so much copying since you don't really know who is responsible for each move.

  • I only notice that Marlon does that a lot. I didn't get it at first but after hearing Michael say how his father would tell the brothers to watch Michael to see how it's done, I guess they couldn't help it. Especially Marlon since he had the hardest time learning the moves as a kid, so they say.
