You stupid fuck. I tried that & all it says is "Could not stop the ipod service on local computer" Error 5. Access is denied." Wtf kinda bullshyt is this? My laptop is fixed. I reinstalled itunes, added songs, my ipods appear on my computer, but I can't remember what I did 2 years ago to get itunes to recognize my ipods. This person sounds like a 5 year old! Brilliant and fixed my issues right away. Itunes, Apple TV, Laptop, Iphone and Ipad all sync now and it fixed Icloud on everything. Thanks for the simple advice that fixed everything. TRY THIS FIRST BEFORE YOU DUMP EVERYTHING AND TRY AND START OVER! That would have sucked for 4000 Songs.

@majiger360 no that shouldn't affect it unless the internal components such as the one or more of the four wires you will find inside were disconnected or worn out.
