It is hard to realize it has been 20 years, seems just like yesterday. As a health care professional I have always treated people with AIDS with respect and compassion. It does not matter how the disease is contracted the results are the same. Ryan and his mother had such a fighting spirit. Ryan was one of many faces of AIDS and will never be forgotten. He taught the adults in the country a lot. Thank you Ryan for all you did.
Ryan taught the world that anyone can get aids! He had so much spirit and energy to get pass the hate that existed in America! My Grandfather died of Lukemia during the same time, We often wonder if his blood was tainted during that period of time when blood wasn't checked! Ryan White will always be a real hero just like the 3 brothers that were burned out of their home in Arcadia Florida! Panic was the tune of the day with Aids and Ryan fought against that and we shall remember him forever on!
