@careypaulhonda thank you very much. wish it was possible. iam from Turkey. and u guys know that here, for some vehicles, we pay %78 tax? a CRV 2010 0km is around 55.000 $ ?...i can buy a very luxury car at that money in USA iam sure..damn ..anyway. thanx for interest and review again.ohh and good luck at business.
Damn I want more power. It is a pain driving an 08 CRV with 166 hp. I hill almost beat me back in AJAX Canada, I had four passengers, not including me, and a cooler full of ice and drinks. My foot was almost through the firewall and feel like im about to flintstone my ass.
@dudeyou8mycereal LOL how is the power of the new crv? is it hard to make a turn in highways? I have a prius 10 and i know how it feels for underpowered cars. It sucks.
I can't decide between MAZDA5 2010 or 2010 Honda CR-V. What I like about Mazda5 is that it as a 3rd row. I would like to know if Honda CR-V has that option as well.
@HOMERJSIMPSON9000 it doesnt, i just bought a black 2010 crv last sunday and i love the car. not trying to persuade you or anything, but the crv is quite a nice car. :)
It's documented that 2009 CR-V makes 166 hp at 5800 rpm and the 2010 makes 180 hp at 6800. Both engines are still the same 2.4 liter and the horsepower numbers are being taken at different rpm levels. Same overall performance. I would rather have torque and the hp at a much lower rpm level when selecting a suv.
Why doesn't Honda put the engine in the TSX? You would be able to get 200 hp and then there would be no complaints for highway pickup at all. 180hp is okay but the CR-V is still kind of a heavy car.
yes i agree. hitting the 200hp mark would be nice, but i think it would increase the cost of production and if that happens, retail price would increase which may take away customers. though my parents will get me the crv soon, i do wish it would be at 200hp :(
actually i don't think it will increase the cost of production because honda is already making an engine like that. the 2.4L i-4 in the Acura TSX has 201hp. just put that in the cr-v

The RAV4 has been around for 13 years, which has given Toyota plenty of time to tweak, tune, and refine the RAV4 into perfection, and offer class-leading options and features that competitors dont offer.
7:10 or if you wanna get IT in, cause your still in college ;)

I'd rather see a turbo 4 cyclinder with 280 hp and getting 30+ mpg on the highway.
