@lethalispro But remember that I start every level from scratch, while Xboxers start with stuff (weapons, jetpack, steroids, so on). And the most important thing is that my runs are single segmented. Remember that XBOX version allows savestates, so technically XBOX runs are 'tool assisted runs', not "proper" speedruns :)

@Fernito69 i know mate, i am trying to do it myself but it is very hard. do you know if there is a portable medkit on the queen before you get to her? because without it the run is impossible. also i wasn't trying to say the run is better than yours or the player is more skillful.. i was just letting you know what time the level can be done maxed out :)

@Bulbasaurdude Of course, that's a very good time! The Queen is a very difficult level because it's very long, because there are some obstacles that require precise timing, like the underwater gears and crushers, and of course because there's a badass boss at the end.

hey fernito, on your run of derelict at 5:52 you pass through the red door, i know about the push with steroids but i die all the time while trying to get through the door.. does it have to be done in a certain way? also the shop n bag run can be done faster, i don't know if you know about it but in the blue door you can shoot through the wall where the window is to get to the secret area near the end.. but you need the devastator from the start.

Oh yeah, the Derelict door push is a very hard one. The "secret" is to do the push it in the middle of the door and strafe-running. Don't get frustrated if at first you don't succeed, it takes a lot of practice.

As for the Shop-n-bag one, I can't see how you can do that. Is there a chance that you can capture it into video and show it to me? I'd be very grateful!

thanks for the tip on derelict.. that map annoys me beyond belief and i will try your method. as for capturing it, i don't have a capture card for my xbox, but i can get duke nukem for free on pc, so i will get it and try to capture it for you. but for now try it, go to the window in the blue room where you can see the crushers, and look to the left, a piece of the wall sticks out. you can shoot an rpg through that and it blows the wall to your left. but you have to hit the right spot.

hey fernito, i'm currently working on my speedruns on xbox, and i just can't kill the bosses on each level fast enough. And when i view other peoples vidoes they kill them with less ammo.. is there places on each boss that increases the damage?

Nope, there aren't specifical places in bosses' bodies that increase damage. In the case of Ep4 boss, you must hit it with almost every devastator missile you can carry (99) to kill it. If you notice, I missed a few shots, and had to finish it with the machine gun.

If you ever feel like going back and trying to improve any times, you missed some steroids on critical mass... at around 5:00 when you come out of the elevator they're on your left. i suppose as long as im on the subject, the yellow key door in death row can be kicked open without needing the keycard. anywho, these runs are amazing! nice work!

@OBSDy Thanks for your interest :) As for the steroids on E4L8, I already knew of them, but for some reason -which I don't remember now :P- I didn't pick them up. As for the yellow key door on E1L3, some guy told me about that trick some time ago but I haven't managed to re-run that level so far. But I will, I promise! ;)

None of the above; I always use the skill in which you can get the minimum time (it's usually "Piece of cake").

hehe, thanks for your comment! :) Some people have told me that it's difficult to understand the runs, because of the extensive use of glitches. I'm glad you liked them :)

That level is one of the most difficult to speedrun. All your movements must be perfectly coordinated, or the speedrun gets screwed up, since there are too much wait times (for example, the underwater crushers and gears). The worst thing is that when you get to the end, you must be very precise with the devastator, because if you miss too much shots, the Queen doesn't die (she's the toughest boss in the game).
