i don't get it... what planets are we talking about here? all 8+ of them.. or just certain ones.. and is this just a compilation on many seperate recordings overlapping each other, or recorded as is..?
@manuelnino "The Symphonies of the Planets series, a collection of works by NASA and Brain/Mind Research in which planetary electromagnetic waves are captured by the Voyager unmanned space probes and converted into audible sound, can also be considered an organic manifestation of dark ambient.["
@somcko0l i've read these are compressed in time... but do we know how compressed? how long did it take for the data to be recorded vs how long it takes for us to listen to it? are the original hard data recordings hours upon hours of mostly dead air, and these are squashed into minutes? that's wild, if so, because it alters what we actually hear, so i think the "composer" question remains partially unanswered.
@somcko0l i mean, someone made the decision to compress them, right? so whomever that someone was, is partly composer of what we are listening to. also the person that lowered the FQ into human hearing levels. and it's astounding beautiful.
@worId I'm sorry, but how is that an ignorant comment? The fact that I have an open enough mind to learn about both God and science and choose to believe that there is a Creator should be the opposite of ignorant.
@somcko0l Believing a big guy who floats in the clouds and listens in on everyone's thoughts sounds pretty ignorant to me. Anyway, not about about to get into a religion argument, so have fun with God.
@worId I agree, arguments are unnecessary. However, expression of beliefs does not have to be an argument, rather, a disagreement or a chance to share with another on what basis your beliefs are built. If you would like to talk about this in a personal message, I'd be happy to.
Thank you NASA....for this sound journey BEYOND COMPREHENSION, but within the realms of EXPERIENCE.....somehow, for some STRANGE AWESUM...reason....I CAN AND CANNOT BELIEVE I can hear this...and that it sounds LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Mind Blowingly Cosmic Ascension.
Man I could listen to this all night. This music should inspire some way-trippy dreams.

@rainbowDETHkitty You make a good point. There should be credit given to those who took the time to convert the waves into something we can hear.
