Kirk Evans was my boss from 82’ thru 88’, “we” brought over quite a few rolling chassis then EAP / DOT converted. Amerisport in Wauseon Ohio, I lived just 15 mins from the shop – wow what a small world.
I got all sweaty hearing what you laid down, watch-n-listened multiple times, brought back the day’s of firing-up the 351’s in the shop to tweak out, then sitting in the fine Italian leather to test drive before loading and delivering.
Your burnout is the best on YouTube! - THANK YOU AGAIN!
Modulating clutch and throttle looking for grip, hit rev limiter, same through second then had to lift running out of road. Kirk Evans Amerisport. Know him well. Mine came from Modena factory. Had it since '85. Almost done ; ) Now where are you?
First gear, nice, Tires chirping / chattering is that Second gear? Or just close to red lining in first? Third Gear tire squawk? Or second, Please confirm!
Whoever brought up the Windsor comment needs slapped. In my younger day’s I worked on these cars, search for Amerisport, (1985,86,87) I know this car would shit-n-get in third gear with that power plant / drivetrain, and in the early 80's DeTomaso finally got the brakes and cooling under control. THANKS!
This is the best burnout video on YouTube. No fuss, no big revs, just torque it and rip it. Then let those 345s leave giant stripes across the parking lot. What an eargasm.
@Transamstance -cause ppl are tired of seeing beautiful sweetheart vintage fords get poisoned w/just another choppy-sounding no-charm 350 that makes the media and their parts-pimping sponsors much easier money.
thats sweet smelling exhaust love that about old cars u can smell the gasoline bruning and you know you got a sweet engine under the hood , with the new cars you cant smell shit they suck!
@12jason223 yea but smelling it means the gas isn't burning 100% efficiently. which means the engine could be getting more power and doesnt have carbon building up inside of the engine. so the engine will run better longer. and with a fuel injected engine it has the perfect fuel air mix at any engine rpm. the carborated engine only has that at its peak range
Thumbs up if you broke you computer desk with your penis when that happened!
