@Drum4evr22 I'm sure you can but can you do it with a single pedal though? Lester doesn't used double pedals and also it's not just the chops but the "feel" and groove....if you don't have that then you're stuck playing by yourself. Lester has the best of both worlds. Feel and chops.

Lester is not the only guy that can play like this. most gospel drummers play like him and some even better. what makes him good to me is that he mixes those gospel fills and grooves with heavy rock. like frontline is straight up groovin.

Lester is the best in his style!...many drummers stick to one style! Lester never has...being a gospel drummer to a rock drummer and then to jazz/pop and country! and sound amazing in all of those!....I think lester has alot of drummers beat!

he does for SURE, but i still stand by that the best drummers in the world are jazz drummers that stick 2 big band stuff, because jazz takes the most talent 2 play well when it comes 2 drums and even tho lots of rock drummers play jazz, straight out jazz drummers take them apart, its all about big band players that only ppl who listen religiously 2 jazz know about, its weird sayin that the best drummers in the world are the ppl nobody hears about but thats how it is, well imo

Its not that hard man....Its all practice practice with a single....getting those muscles to do it..If your using a double kick you will never get it as you wont be as dedicated to it as when you have one pedal
