  • A brilliant piece of music from a brilliant artist way ahead of his time!!

  • Nice where did you get the photos from?

  • @KOGR11 Thanks :) From various places on internet (google images search :)

  • For a Russian he was extremly handsome

  • @Mercedes600SEL Oh, so you think all russians are rude and behave like barbarians?

  • @KirillLive Like a 80% of them are. Blond hair blue eyes. Always shaved. When I think about russian man, I have always in front of my eyes a russian army soldier with 2mm hair and cancer voice.

  • @Mercedes600SEL You're wrong :)

We are generally strange people. We aren't like other nations. But it doesn't mean that we all are ignorant.

Trust me. Actually I know much about russians, because I'm russian :)

  • GREAT!!! video. Thanks for Assembling it & share it. :-)

  • @sarek1701 sure! was mine pleasure ;)

  • Happy 50th anniversary

  • Today his journey completes 50 years!

Hail Gagarin for his immense courage and Jarre for his genius!

  • 12 April 2011...... 50 Years ago the first man in Space..... Gagarin

This is the time for a remix by JMJ

  • nice

  • it is actually an interesting range of images plus unique memorabilia associated with that time and that amazing event. Well done.

The song is one of my personal favourites by Jarre. Thanks for posting)

  • @aa7111 Thanks a lot (p.s. we have very similar music taste ;)

  • I thought it's "Stalin, Laika, Sputnik" instead of real lyrics. :) So my version is real too. :)

  • Que montagem perfeita!

  • excellent! tribute to a great Russian cosmonaut who launched the whole humanity in the age of stars and space!

I love JMJ 's music too!

  • @sushikawaii6 Thanks :))

  • El último gran disco que ha hecho Jean Michel hasta el momento!!! Buenisíma canción!!! Llena de texturas!!!

  • gagarin was for everybody around the world...he was not just soviet or russian guy.

  • Слабая, любительская подборка фоток, монтаж можно было сделать и интереснее. ИМХО

  • @SpiritUK2 :)) OK, then I'm expecting your video with better edited images !

  • whiskeykontequila Good Video!!!

  • @LuisV77 thank you :)

  • great, I always loved this tune! The live version in Egypt is stunning, too!

  • @bassmajor thanks :)

  • 4:54 was a **shock** when I first listened to it !

  • nice track

  • This movie is best!!!

  • @MulinRouge thank you :)

  • Russian dogs were first, then Russian people, then American monkeys, and then, a year later American man flow into space

  • Jean Michel Jarre is a brilliant composer, and I personally believe "Hey Gagarin" is Jarre's masterpiece. As a US Air Force officer, I have the utmost respect for Yuri Gagarin's legacy as the first human in space. What exemplary courage! And what an exquisite tribute by Jean Michel Jarre! Bravo!

  • @brentjunger This is ingenious remark from you. Thank you, that you have as an officer of the U.S. ARMY respect for Russian cosmonaut. The more comments here is completely useless and hostile. Moreover, this is not about politics (because I think it is a world wide policy sucks) but to music. Thank you

  • I thought a dog and monkey were first in space. Not human, but hey they were the first.

  • russian's were the first in space, yes.

  • @UKKKalevi I remember this so well,I was 8 years old,and Iremember what I was doing at the time. It was so revolutionary.

  • AS A COMMENT TO ATLANTISSATURN (5 months ago)

We also do not have any proof that yankies were at Moon. A film about golf play at Moon? Well... But why the U.S. duster is waving like because of the wind at Earth? And further expeditions hadn't found any signs of american landing. I think speaks like that (I mean AtlantisSaturn's comment) are because of inferiority complex and inability to lose.

  • This bring back memories. I didn't say flashbacks. Just memories. I never tripped whilst listening to this! Well, perhaps once or twice!

  • Nice track, and americans suck XD, what if they won the "space race" they are being controlled anyways like puppets...

  • Love this track. Another of Jarres more modern pieces that i really love listening to. I love how the beat evolves and drives the track along.

  • great! excellent

  • Thanks a lot ;)

  • How about you being "worry a bit more" about the USSR space program? Why do you believe Soviet propaganda? Are you commie?

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you, Alternavoxmag, you're very convincing. :)

  • There is no proof that Gagarin was in space. No photos, no videos, no audio. Nothing. Only the statement of the Soviet news agency, Tass. The man who was really launched on that day died, and Gagarin was parachuted from a plane. He has not landed inside the capsule.

That video, with Gagarin climbing on the stiars, was shot AFTER the flight. It was admitted by the Russians. Gagarin was a simple actor. He has not even made a picture of Earth when he allegedly was in space.

  • Who cares? The Americans won the Space Race and that's all that matters!

  • Well.... um..... actually the Russians got into space first!

  • This post is almost as hilarious like those WTC conspiracies spread around the net. I've really become sick & tired of them now ...
