How long (minutes) can you film with HD before the accu runs out? And how much megabyte does 1min or 5 min take? Thank you for uploading! Hope someon can help me!:)
@missingtalent I've got the TZ7 with the same recording quality. AVCHD Lite. 10 minutes of recording takes up around 1GB. Roughly. So 1 minute around 100MB.
@letseatpopcorn the Canon SX210 has some bad outer stuff, when i held and played with one hands on, the mode dial was in a weird position and it was quite hard to turn, and the zoom knob is very small and flimsy. but thats just me,
@letseatpopcorn Got this yesterday and trying to master it. My zooming goes outta focus and shakes a lot. But that could just be my hands. I knew it's not perfect but I needed a compact cam (not camcorder) to take into arenas to rec. live bands where the audio levels are extremely high. And this camera is suppose to have audio normalising. The sx210 is similar but has a 14x optical instead of 12x zoom. If I didn't plan to record loud audio I'd probably get the sx210.

@missingtalent i read that you can film only 8 minutes in hd resolution. with "normal" resolution you can film 24 minutes. that's what i read

@KevinKevKev2 The Yz7 just ent as good as a tz10...even tho they say its videos the same ...i would say the video picture on the tz10 is smoother !

@letseatpopcorn Some canon powershot can use CHDK. And yes you can change the video compression onthe fly.
