sounds & looks GREAT!!! i got a 72 chevelle as well, red with black stripes, mine is the 99 viper red and looks AMAZING!!! ;-D I have the delta 40 flowmasters 2.5 on mine and bout to order a comp cam XE274 and some new jeg aluminum heads, 200cc intake runners, 64 combustion chamber.. cant wait to get mine going again!!!

I have a friend that has a 71, it has the exact same paint job as that. he put a zz 502 crate motor into it, it is nasty.

I would do flowmaster 44s more of a muscle car sound they sound great

What size of piping you running? Just got done with a motor build very similar to what you have on my 72. . I'm trying to decide between the Borla, s44's or s40's. Love flomaster but like being different and borla isn't too common. . . . This sound real good TOO!!

@JuiceB0X510 i like em, having both originals 40s, and delta 40s in the past, and hearing 50s, id say these are kinda in the middle. sound is deep and hollow at idle, and a nice tone while driving. also seems i picked up a few horses with the x-pipe, and seems the X smoothed out the tone some when u rev it. no popping or cracking, nice and smooth.

my small block chevelle can beat up your small block chevelle hahaha just kidding. beautiful car. before i bought my malibu i had a 85 dodge ram in that exaxct color. nothing looks better in the sun. P.S. even if mine was faster urs looks better haha
