They kill all they think a(n) 'enemy to the establishment', 'threat to status quo', 'threat to national security', 'enemy of the state', etc. in political terms or 'difference', 'creativity', 'innovation', or 'bid'ah' in common terms. To these 'bravehearts' proper law and justice don't apply. To them only political resolution of assassination is appropriated. In my country Indonesia, for example, this happened to our heroes of: labor rights, Marsinah & human rights, Munir :-(
@hopkinsonevil Thank you for you comment, what you say is very true. There are people in power who silence the minds who seek to free the minds of those oppressed. But if they made a difference in life they made a difference in death. They may not have gotten the chance to be all they could have been but what they did in life still made a difference. I truly hope your heroes got a chance to make a difference before they were silenced.
@Blade5276 Thank you. They did. They do. And they will. Especially ion our daily life and discourse, in which, they are remembered, their names mentioned, their ideas discussed, their deeds exemplified, and youth like me inspired. This is how now they 'live their life' best--in the hearts of those they tried to save and those who cherish their ideas and efforts and make these linger one way or another...:-)
@Blade5276 I keep the videos of 'JFK' and 'The Kennedys'; when I feel like mourning about the world of kinda, supposedly intended conflicts and injustice made do with and by the created wars and the likes with people saying ideas against them being sidelined, cornered, silenced, even killed, I turn to watching the videos and be sad and weep. My wife, who usually watches her fave Korean dramas, and my eldest son, who is crazy about war (scene) programs in our home History channel join in...
This is why we must at least pay are respects, even though they were killed because of secrets that were not revealed, my father was born in 1963 he says to me that they were Americas best and I must respect that. R.I.P

@Blade5276 A verse I dedicate to the two:
John and Robert of the Kennedys serve a good teacher
How (2) brothers stick together
Differences prevailing they don’t bother
Backing each other up forever
Turning away from each other’s back never
In the best and worst of time ever...

Very nicely done. The weight of the world was truly on all their shoulders. Now it is on ours.
