technically a sileighty would refer to any 180sx body with a silvia front end typically s13 but s15 is still a silvia conversion although more widely referred to as s13.5

@YankiEBubbAAussiE there was actually a japanese auto shop that produced 500 "official" sileighty's, but it originated from early japanese street racers who had damaged the front of their 180sx's and replaced them with the s13 silvia's front panels and lights because they were cheaper then the 180sx replacement parts.

its an 200sx s13 strawberry face conversion.. its not an sileighty, and sileighty is an 180/200/240 sx with the front of a s13.

I know what you're talking about; I was looking forn "Authentic" ones to, but why not just get an S13 fastback body and import an S13 notchback front end? It doesn't need to be the Kid's Heart Sil-80, even though it did recieve some tuning.

this isnt a REAL sileighty, the s15 front clip was never used on a sileighty, it was the s13 front clip on the 180sx chasis. this also goes with the comment above you.

the sileighty became popular because the drifters with 180sx would replace there fronts with a silvia front because they were lighter and cheaper

Silvia K's (PS13) : Sil / Silvia K's are american 240sx Coupe with SR20DET engine and Projector beams .

Nissan Produce the Sil-Eighty for the Drifters Market. that combined the SR20DET engine the HID Projectors Beams of the silvia and the sleek looks of the 180SX Behind .

U can change the S13 front clip for a S15 .

lil surfer kid you obviously have no idea what you are talking about, the chassis code for the car in the vid is rps13 (aka s13) with the front clip from a s15 silvia not a s14/s15, therefore producing a s13.5. Also 240sx's share the same chassis codes so a 240 is still a rps13 or rhs13 for hatch's (180sx's) or ps13 for coupe's. So and i quote "get ya facts straight"

It an s13 with an s15 front end. therefor- s13.5. if you pause it at exactly 30seconds you can clearly see that he is in the left side of the car. thus a 240sx. an s13 with an s14 front end is an s13.4. get it? got it good.. its not a sileighty.
