@lifesizemirror The bear has to dance for money, under the monkey's instruction. But the bear is driven to madness by having to dance for money, and she sneaks away to the seaside to bathe , making a fool of herself, the monkey is ashamed of the bear even though he drove her to madness. The bear slips at the seaside and drowns, metaphorically the burden is so heavy it drowned her. When it says the monkey is left bare, bear has died, never to be able to "bare her teeth" (be herself)
@lifesizemirror Personaly i think , even though it may sound far fet'ched it may be a metaphor for a woman being pushed into stripping/prostitution for the man she loves, and the sake of his money, but he doesn't really love her.
She goes mad from what she has to do to keep him and eventually kills herself (possibly via drowning in a bathtub) and never gets to experience the real love of "monkey". Poor Ursula. Just my own interpretation of course.
WTF is she dying?

I love this song played live, especially after reading the lyrics! But I don't understand exactly what happens to the bear at the end... ??

This song is wonderfully lyrical. I've always enjoyed songs that tell a story, and the way she sings it is superb. Thanks for the hi-def upload!
