  • When I installed the game it says that it is not available right now! :(

  • @MellX1337

Its normal give it time or go to steam and verify integrity of game cache

  • For me, using 64-bit Windows 7 this is the correct script:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe -install D:

However, when I run it - it connects to my account and then prompts me to type in the activation code rather than what happened in the video. (I'm borrowing the disc off a friend)

  • @HeyRustyJames

The script is correct for you. It's a tiny bit different for everyone but I give you a good head start in finding the one which will work for you. You will need your own activation code. You can't use it for multiple PC's. You can actully buy activation codes for the game without having to buy the disk for much cheaper. I will leave that to you to find.

  • wat means steam???

  • thank you guy

  • Shitcam.

  • when im install it i always get steam setup not the game setup any help?

  • Works in DAEMON TOOLS???

  • @Guilherme2239

No.... Unless you map the destination of the virtual disk... Otherwise use nero, imgburn, alcohol 120% to burn the iso to a disk and install properly.

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster 1. can i play multiplayer?

    2. Can it be burned CD?

  • i have another problem! i installed call of duty black ops and uninstalled it. now when i install it again and it asks me the product code it says that is activated already and the installation stops! do u know what can i do?

  • i have a CD of black ops installer and i need help because when im near the end of the installing it STOPS!!! and i can hear the CD SLOWING DOWN!!! NOW WHAT?!

  • @kylaroxd most logical things I can thing of is one,

U don't have enough hard drive space.

    2. Your windows partition is based of the fat32 file system which dose not support files over 4GB.

One more thing. Configure steam to have admin privileges. This may help with it's file permissions.

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster I have a same problem with kylaroxd, but my laptop is brand new and with high technical specs. What should I do? and how can I configure the steam? can you help on this one, thanks...

  • @lessthanjayps

It should work the same. Run the script I gave in the description. Make sure you are using the drive letter. If it does not work then be sure you are using 64 bit or not. If you are on a 64 bit OS the script has to change slightly.

  • You just saved me from a 7 hours long download waiting for dumb Steam to download a game I already have on my disc... Big thanks man ;O)

  • The steam.exe still pops out again.

  • @zatvitz

It should open with steam. Log in if it asks and then it should proceed to install from disk. Make sure you type in the correct directory with the slashes the right way. if your running 32 bit version of windows it should look like

    C:\program files\Steam\steam.exe -install E:

  • my steam is in the program files 86 but i dont know what to type in then do u know?

  • @TheAkilles8

First click my computer. Look at the DVD drive letter. It should have it next to the cod icon.

Also you are running a 64 bit version of COD.

therefore you must type as follows

    C:\program files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe -install E

only you replace the "E" with your drive letter

  • m8 it doesnt work for me i try to run but it failes i dont know what i do wrong the letter is the same like yours its E: but it doesnt go any help??

  • @TheAkilles8

Only to make sure in the file path you have case sensitive letters like I did it. Just try changing it around slightly and see if it works.
