Because submission to conformity is hazardous, it doesn't emanate peace for the submitter. Peace comes through the self admission of one's values, and defense of those values.
A democracy can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largess from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The people go from abundance to selfishness, to apathy, to dependence and from dependence to dictatorship. We always elect the government we deserve!
Money physically is just paper (even gold is of limited utility), but it is in its essence a Token of Goodness. It is our representation of the benefit others have done for us through their productive labor and we know the level of their beneficence by the amount we are willing to pay for their productivity.
The scary part of today's society is that the masses of entitlement are growing larger. Our government has produced it and encouraged it's growth by giving handouts to those that have done nothing and punished those who have. What's worse it the trend is only getting worse. Consumers have complained of the separation of classes for decades, and yet, they do nothing to to change it. They have allowed forces they know nothing of to choose the side of the fence they sit on... and complain about it!

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
Benjamin Franklin (1706 - 1790), Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759
I have always held the Founding Fathers in my heart and memory, and grow weary at the complete lack of connection with our heritage in this country. I grow angrier each day at those who intentionally go about the business of erasing the nation's collective memory. it's time for real, lasting change.
Reagan's words are inspiring. I am grateful that the founders pledged their lives, fortune, and sacred honor and followed through to establish a great nation where freedom and prosperity could flourish under our Constitution.
history showed the war between producers and consumers is continue process. It's like never ending battle where nobody win. Changing mindset through mass action may become a solution. truly, prosperity is our right. right of all people.
I am inspired to act every time I watch this. I am grateful to be learning the principles on which to base my actions. I am motivated to stand for individual liberty, and therefore allow individual failure, and recognize individual accountability. Included in that is the recognition that If I desire that others be persuaded to believe as I do, it is up to me to do all I know how to persuade them. Thank you for this powerful video.
More and more frequently as I watch the news I find myself thinking I need to find a country to live in that's less socialistic. As I catch myself having that thought I remember that our country is still amazing and it's up to me to bring to pass the changes/corrections to bring back the freedoms we have lost. This is why the FCP is amazing; By uniting my efforts with the project I can make a bigger difference more quickly.
Powerful and moving! I am beginning to see how scarcity and consumerism have negatively shaped my life. Thanks for organizing the project and the producer revolution. Viva John Gault!
Replace Truman or FDR with Ronald Reagan during WW2 and watch him overshadow Churchill. It's not that he was fearless, he knew that our enemies will not back down if we flinch.
I think that I have given in to the Inferiority complex that Ezra Taft Benson mentioned. I'm ready to leave it behind. In response to the question, I choose freedom. I am ready to continue the revolution that the Founding Fathers started.
Producers may be few in a battle for freedom. With consumers in opposition and the fence sitters as another obstalce, producer power has enough to withstand the force in opposition. Because, their power comes from righteous action. Not as a result of opposing forces but an inner allegiance to what is right. I choose to "pledge allegiance..."
I think that this free capitalist introduction is a great reminder that we still live in a blessed country. It is good to remember that if we wish to keep our blessings and freedoms we will need to be involved in the governmental processes that affect us, especially those that go beyond the ballot box. It was a good presentation and I enjoyed it.
This video starts with President Reagan and it tells us that we need to have the backbone to defend freedom. We have to defend freedom or our children will be subject to tyrants. I am not sure who it is who follows, but that was great.
In the end we win, how true. The goal of education is not knowledge but action. Action taken on the side of truth, capitalism, production, liberty, and personal responsibility leads to prosperity for all involved. Our history is rooted in this truth and those working to destroy the historical correctness of our beginning are tireless. Yet, they don't realize how revolutionary liberty and self-reliance are. It will grow numbers simply due to the wonders it offers in place of oppression.
Those of today that believe that paper money is capital are sadly mistaken. Money is only a means of exchange, and it only produces value in the hands of true capital. True capital is not made of wood, steel, copper or fiber glass, it does not run on unleaded, or diesel, though capital's tools are and may. True capital is man himself, and a capitol man, is called a capitalist!
The application of knowledge is power and for those who grasp this notion is on the path to wealth and prosperity. Not by luck or chance more so by the state of mind in which becoming wealthy is a by product in the way a man thinks. A mind truly is a terrible thing to waste.
So many people believe in collective rights, that certain groups are entitled to their fair share, whether its the poor or people who work in education. Individuals are entitled to the fruits of their own labor, to the value created from their exchange. How does the fact that there are two or more of you change this way of living?
Although socialism has not prevailed, I also believe the nowadays capitalism system has proved to have serious problems as well, as the crisis in the developed world is showing us. Consuming has played a great role on this picture and this is why I choose to be a producer.
Very good subject for introspect. A person needs to continually look within to measure the progress in becoming valur creators or producers. That is one of the true concepts one must follow to become absolute.
I agree with what aaron20099 say's, Freedom is my security. It is time we bring about freedom, and all live with great principles. I'm tired of sitting and watching everything around me turn to waste. Producers are the only one's we have ever been able to count on.
Its a strange to see that in these two videos, are held in aggregate, many of my personal beliefs that I have thought separate. I like the way they are pulled together.
It is time for us to uncover our eyes and realize our duty. Our duty might not be a physical war, but I will stand against freedom! I will take freedom over the socialist security, because freedom is my security!!
I am so tired of the fear-mongering and scarcity mentality that has many in the grips of fear. I know this world has abundant resources, more than enough to sustain and give joy to its inhabitants. The real change we need is a return to founding principles. I am all for this project!
I am ready for change. I hope I can help others add value to our society as well. We can not stay on our current path in America. We must all achieve and not pin all or our hopes on one new president elect! Forge a new road!
The one question for me is "what am I going to do now?" I will stand by true principles and teach the same to everyone I come in contact with. Truth will prevail in the end. It may be a long struggle, but I believe the nation will be better for it. Go Producers !
yes there must be a moral revolution as ayn rand speaks of in the virtue of selfishness as capitalism is the only true moral system available to man because it is the only social system known to man that recognizes the individual rights of man and encourages his life as the greatest and only good.
Preach it Brother! Now is the time to take back America from those who profess they love this country with their lips but with their actions they show that they hate America. Freedom is not free. Ask our Founding Fathers. Ask any soldier who has been in combat and has lost a buddy. Get your friends to pledge to this cause.
Excellent video, sign the free capitalist pledge. Our children must learn this lesson, it's up to us to show them how to be producers. Their freedom depends on it...
I have been actively and consciously converting my self from a socialist consumer into a capitalist producer for about the past two years; and, I look forward to working with others in this FreeCapitalist Project.
Thanks, Rick, for all the work you've done to make this cause popular.
Great conclusion! I love brother Skousen's remarks. It's important to remember that even though things may seem grim if we live by principle then we can live with perfect optimism because good will always triumph over evil.
In this downward spiral we must first demand our freedoms to at least stop the free fall. The first step is to wake up and the second is to end the debt slavery. I am doing it FREE and you can too! Check out my profile for details.

I believe my response on the first part of the video was self explanatory, ... my lot in life is to bring freedom back to this nation, to bring prosperity to those who believe in it, to those who work for it, to those understand capitalism, freedom, and prosperity.
When the word "slavery" is used, most people think only of the sort which we are accustomed to learning about in school. If more people could realize the type of bondage we "9-5ers" are subjecting ourselves to, how great would the world be?
Very inspiring and motivating video. How powerful it would be if we all come together as Producers. We can live up to our duty. The only thing I didn't like about the video was seeing Orin Hatch. I don't include him on my list of Constitution-loving public servants. He seems to be quite a statist to me. Viewers of this video might be interested in "Dollars and Sense" by the John Birch Society. Look it up.
I love that this video was so optimistic...real, but optimistic! It does not say we are all doomed because we have already delved so far into socialism...in fact, I loved Skousen's comments where he said that he had read the book and knew who won! This video has for me asked me the question, what are you willing to do for your freedom?
It has always been a small minority. Not due to human nature, but human tendency. There will always be many who when exposed to it, are captivated by capitalism, but to actually pursue and practice it is another matter entirely. It requires work. Strength. Action. The kind of responsibility everyone would have to take on if thrust into a truly liberated society. Wouldn't that be a sight to see?
I really liked hearing President Reagan's comments about standing up and making a difference. I wish that our politicians today could speak with such conviction!
Though I am reserved to answer a call to duty from the outside, Capitalism is the most moral system, as it is the most rational system. The "greater good" "duty" "stewardship" are secondary results of one's duty to self. Therefore, I support "rational self-interest" as opposed to calls to duty in and of themselves. But again, if one values one's own life, Capitalism is the social system for that person.
I choose freedom. Socialism leads to destruction, slavery and misery. This video pronounces our responsibility to be stewards over our own lives and future, by being producers and overcoming the mindset of scarcity. May we so choose.
My favorite part of p.II is Cleon Skousen's quote. With such negative influences surrounding us each day, it was nice to recall that in the end, we WILL win. For the time being, we must choose to face truth over deception, even if it means taking a more difficult path. We must be producers and put more into our world than we take out. My dad always reminded me that success is not about luck - success is made through hard work. It's time to band together in a Producer Revolution - Count me in
Knowledge over ignorance, true to society these days, there is no middle ground of intellect. Freedom is more than a social project and a fight for capitalism is a moral issue as is spoken in this video. Capitalism is the basis of the founding of America it encapsulates the freedom and liberties that were written over 200 years ago, it is a fight that must be fought and a fight that can not be lost to ensure prosperity.
For those that have stumbled upon this by a google search or stumbled upon this out of curiosity I encourage you to learn more about this project. My life has changed for the better since learning about capitalism and the ideals our founding fathers established in the namely in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the United States.
My eyes are open, and I will wait for no man to save my tarnished soul... And while it chills me to the bone, with my back to the abyss I will make my stand. My destiny is my own. The choice to act is mine alone. How can I ask another man to save me, if I would not save myself?
Simply put to me this is up to us as individuals to make reality. To me it's having a knowledge with in you to produce and make actual. I love this Rick n' Company. You guys are the best.
I've always loved when President Reagan quotes Winston Churchill "There's something going on in time and space and beyond time and space. Which weather we like it or not spells duty". I'm glad I'm learning this now. The producers are arising.
"Each of us has a natural right—from God—to defend his person, his liberty, and his property. These are the three basic requirements of life, and the preservation of any one of them is completely dependent upon the preservation of the other two."
Ours is the critical responsibility and now is the time to make our resolves immovable for individual liberty in order to save this and future generations from the ever strangling chains of socialism.
I have made the decision to become one of these modern intellectuals that will continue this American experiment to promote freedom and liberty. Just as Ezra Taft Benson said, "Time is always on the side of truth."
The battle for liberty is ours now, just as in the time of the writing of the declaration of independance. It is time we take the cause and carry it forward. We must learn how to think for ourselves, then take an active role in this great battle for our freedom. We must draw aline and declare that communism must not advance beyond that point.
I really like this video. It definitely inspires me to be a better person and makes me realize that I don't want to be any part of the consumer condition!
"Freedom is more than a social slogan." Rick Koerber
Freedom used in that context - by the media and the majority of our elected "leaders" - usually means something related to money and to be purchased on behalf of the consumers at the expense of those who produce.
The word's true meaning with its attendant implications (stewardship, responsibility, productivity, morality, etc.) is almost absent from public discourse.
It seems from the outcome of the recent race for a U.S. President shows that the majority of its citizens are begging for the supposed security of socialism. Dr. Skousen, a modern day Founding Father said "he's read the book, and in the end... We Win"
It is time for a moral revolution. This will require a moral people with moral courage. Not those with a shreaded American Flag attached to their car (like during 911)
Excellent video. It is hard for me to believe that in all the thousands of years man has lived on this earth, so few of those years have seen freedom among men. We truly live in a unique time and place. I pledge to do all I can to maintain the freedoms our founding fathers fought to give us. I hope many others will join me in this cause.
I have always loved America and the freedom it has given me. I want to do my part to keep or regain this freedom for my children, grandchildren and great grand children. This video clip help wake, within me, these feelings and also a desire for a renewed effort. Thanks
I have always loved America and the freedom it has given me. I want to do my part to keep or regain this freedom for my children and grandchildren and greatgrand children. This video clip helps wake, within me, these feelings and also a desire for a renewed effort.
as I watch this video, it fills me with a sense of purpose to learn more and act more in standing up for what I believe in. so I will stand up and help with my talent that has been given to me, and I will do it in my own little way.
This video incites so many emotions. First of gratitude for the founders who paid the price get get this country started in the right direction. Secondly, pride . . . pride to be an American, to have so many freedoms and liberties protected by our government. Inspired, motivated, excited, and empowered to fight for those freedoms. I love liberty. I love freedom. And no one can take that away.
I love the video too. Excellent! The part that stands out to me the most is when President Benson talks on "Stand up for freedom no matter what the cost. It can help save your soul and freedom." The last speaker when he said: "In the end we win". Excellent! Thanks for creating a powerful video.
This is a powerful video that leaves me feeling both full of pride and shame. We must rise up together and be producers for our country and our future generations. Adopt a more proactive mindset, defeat adversity, and achieve true freedom!
I love this video. It inspires me every time I watch it and reminds me of the need for action. I appreciate Ezra Taft Benson's statement that "Truth must be repeated again and again because error is constantly being preached round about." If we choose freedom then we must stand and be counted. We must understand our individual responsibility to live by principle and share the truth. It is indeed time for a moral revolution to finish the work of our Founding Fathers.
Ayn Rand was way before her time. Capitalism is the best! The producers will always prevail or all the world will die. It's an awesome video. I will answer in the affirmative to life's question.
It is a shame that this presentation must be split in two. This has given me a new perspecive and a way to see the way ahead that leads to producing not consuming and that "The earth is full and to spare" is true in every facet of my life. By choosing to produce more than I consume I make a difference. I will stand up for freedom and live by principle.
Really good video. I've watched it several times and never fails to inspire me to become a producer. It so awful to consume more than we produce. Fighting for freedom and winning means that I have to change my life. Its hard but as President Reagan said 'its better to die on your feet'.
"The age of the consumer is over." Capitalism must win! Obama has said, "our individual salvation depends on collective salvation." We must not let socialism win.
The spirit of this revolution is one that has pricked my heart for a long time. I have involved myself in ways that I new how, and now I am so glad to see that there is a formal organization that is seeking to better the whole world, not just themselves! Yes to engapps, "We Choose Freedom!"
I see this video as a call to action. I just recently started to care about all of this kind of stuff. For me, life was fine. Well, life won't continue to be "fine" if people continue to be apathetic and uninvolved. We need to be actively choosing each day to learn more, produce more, share ideas more, and contribute more. I want to be able to say I am doing all I can to move forward the cause of freedom. If we each take charge of our own lives the world would be a much better place.
The leaders of the past have given us warning of where we are headed. We must start listening and get to work. Let's be the generation that answers the question: "We Choose Freedom"
I love this video. I have seen it several times and every time I hear President Reagan's speech I get chills. What happened to the character of men, of our leaders? Why do we not have leaders in Washington DC with the same care and conviction for freedom, liberty and the constitution like that of President Reagan.
I have seen this video before, however, I love it each time I see it. I would that all men stand up as those great men in history, and I cannot see us going on as a nation too much longer if many men don't stand up because as the video qouted "eternal vigilance is the price of liberty"
However the fact that you have RUDY GOOOLIANI in there was enough to make me PEUCK..... you spout FREEDOM FREEDOM... then you have a picture of a NAZI!!!!!
WHAT THE F**K???????????????
AND WHY THE HELL AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT NOTICED THIS?????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????
I was going to put it on my website, until I saw the face of one of satins right hand men.

I wanted to know what the most important question was...and I found it:
"Will I choose to be free?"
Another good question to make that a part of daily life: "What will I do to choose freedom today?"

Though I am reserved to answer a call to duty from the outside, Capitalism is the most moral system, as it is the most rational system. The "greater good" "duty" "stewardship" are secondary results of one's duty to self. Therefore, I support "rational self-interest" as opposed to calls to duty in and of themselves. But again, if one values one's own life, Capitalism is the social system for that person.

The battle for liberty is ours now, just as in the time of the writing of the declaration of independance. It is time we take the cause and carry it forward. Starting with myself, I begin now.

The world "IS" changing...
Not those with a shreaded American Flag attached to their car (like during 911)
But True Patriots!
