Everyone notices his beard changing color in the localization, but no one notices his eyes. In the original version, he has no white to his eyes, they're just black lines. In the localization, I noticed he now has whites to his eyes.

Interesting fact:After close examination of Olaf's Background (After victory) in Dual Strike's NTSC and PAL versions, his beard is the correct orange color, but his eye whites are missing, it seems.

Well, when you think about it, the AW2 COs collectively referenced Soviet Russia:

1. Olaf = General Winter (The climate the Germans faced in the Eastern Front)

2. Grit = Russian Snipers (Remember "Enemy at the Gates"?)

3. Colin = Cheap but effective army (AKA conscripts)

Olaf is actually supposed to represent Joseph Stalin.

During WW2 Nazi forces were on the verge of taking the city of "Stalingrad". However due to a very harsh and "Snow prone" Winter all advancing forces were halted and since Soviet troops were used to the conditions they could fight back more effectively.

I've been hacking Dual Strike inside out, and deep inside the ROM are a lot of sound samples to the songs they were supposed to go with.

Near the end, I found evidence that the development team of Dual Strike meant to "update" Olaf's theme with more prominent menacing instruments instead of these sad, SAD trumpets.

Olaf really got messed up in AWDS. His powers were actually feared in the first two games, but they really nerfed him in AWDS.

Not only that but his song was nerfed, too. For some reason, the lack of bass doesn't let me take Olaf seriously. Listen to the first song, you'll hear power, dominance. This remake is more weasley.

Not to mention that his powers officially suck as snow no longer slows down anyone anymore.

They changed it during localisation.

Reason being, I don't know o.o
