Yes, Chopper's gotten paid a fair bit of money for the things he's done in the past number of years but at least it's not all been flamboyant nonsense. It's clear he realizes his life can serve as a cautionary tale, and his experiences - while offensive to many of us - can show others some things are worth avoiding.

It's fair to judge what he's done in the past but foolish of anyone to condemn the rest of his life for it. He's done well enough for others since his decisions earlier in life.

Not when you know that you could kill someone by doing it. When you get in that car and drive drunk, you are saying that you consider the possibility of killing someone to be an acceptable risk. You are labelling each person in your path expendable, and WITH FOREKNOWLEDGE assuming responsibility for any deaths caused by your actions. It's about as cold-blooded as you can get. It's the calculated risk of ending someone's life, and it's no different than burying landmines in people's backyards.
