Charles Rothschild (1877-1923), of the House of de Rothschild of England, established both Woodwalton Fen, in Cambridgeshire, and Wicken in 1910, which were wholly owned by His Honourable. The SPNR acquired the reserves in 1919 as the first of many gifts the late trillionaire gave. The areas are now National Nature Reserve managed by English Nature. In particular, Wicken Fen is one of the best remnants of the formerly abundant fen habitat of Sir Charles day.

Very nice & I love the music that you chose. Doesn't it feel so good to get out with nature and the little critters? I am blessed to live next to a large woods.From my back window I see squirrels, rabbits, deer, racoons, the occasional possum, & all kinds of birds at our feeder. I can't forget to mention my favorite fuzzy companion & furball of love, Bernie! A little Shih Tzu mix that we were able to rescue from the dog pound. We must defend the animals, when we can. Your video reminds me of a Sunday morning show that used to be on here in the United States. It was hosted by Charles Kerault who passed away shortly after his last show. I was always entranced by the video at the end of all his shows. It was done very similar to yours..the only difference being that the sounds of nature, the sound of the wind, etc., were more prominently featured. I really liked seeing the wildlife and the music was very nice, too! Very nicely done! :) *****
