The thing about the lack of headcrabs is that when you see them in the game the person they are on are begging to put down and out of their misery but the decayed zombs. (poison crab throwers and fast zombs.) are decayed because the headcrab must feed to stay alive

This was fantastic. Really well done. I just have one disappointment: The distinct lack of facial expression and also the lack of any signs of exhaustion (not even a bit out of breath after running for ages). I just felt that the characters were far too relaxed for their situation.

More and more I realize, Hollywood has it all wrong. Fan films like these are better than any Hollywood re-imagining any day. It reminds me of what movies were like before the perpetual recycling of actors and before CGI was the main component of a movie being "good" That is why all the classics are still great. Most of the actors in those movie were no namers. It was easy to imagine something like that happening to you, because you yourself were a no namer. Thats how I feel about this short.

Video is very well made but Shephard is suppossed to be a run of the mill beefed up hoo'rah marine, not some 19 year old college boy. Everyone looks clean and 'stylish', also the wrist computer is well beyond anything humanity has in the HL universe.

If the film hadn't gone the route of Adian Shephard and had been about some normal people it'd stand up much better.

Very nice, you dropped a grenade to do what? In the Half Life universe grenades are like a slap to the face with a wet fish. It would probably kill the two guys in front of you, but that's about it.

What I would do in their situation, is throw the grenade in the middle of them and make a run for it. At least your chances of survival go up from 0.

C'mon, zombies without headcrabs(there even exist those little funny hats that look like headcrabs), Andrew is forced to be like John Conor, they don't use parkour in 202X (and they didn't use it when Andrew was in the army), Combine doesn't use swords because it's a "weak earth weapon", overwatch doesn't use G36s, overwatch show too much feelings although they have that part of the brain removed as are their genitals, the the characters look too and modern.
