this is my favorite knophler solo. the playing is beautiful, but I wish he 'opened it up' a bit more, and played some fast runs, I think it would add to the emotion of the song.

I'm pretty sure TOL was played on Mark's Schecter Strat. The sunburst one with the phase switches.

in the video, a schecter is used but when performed live, mark uses his pensa for nearly every song because it is so versatile, when he started he used his old strats but then started to use his pensa for everything including brothers in arms which he originally used a les paul.
