In no way did quentin tarantino direct or produce this movie. robert did. Robert also brought in salma hayek and started her career.

Quentin has however clearly been inspired by this in his own movies.

Certainly like Grindhouse by Rodriguez and Tarantino. The first part of this movie is about the gangsters, that's Tarantino's work. The second part is about the vampires, which is created by Rodriguez. Together, they make one hell of a movie, like Grindhouse!
