for the jars you can put some beef jerky and rice in because the rice will suck out any moisture and make the jerky last longer. people prep rice and beans and grain but red meet is very important.
you can store rice in the jars easily. using regular white rice the ratio is one jar rice + 2 of the same jar water. if you figure on a cup of rice per person then one pint jar will be two servings.
Also i agree with MrDrcow123, baby wipes are a must. They keep a long time in their air-tight packs and can be used not only for washing a baby, but make a great sponge-bath for adults too. this would allow you to stretch your water storage further and still retain a good level of hygine.
put salt, sugar, pepper, herbs and flour in the jars. buy field dressings, plasters, alcohol wipes, aspirin, and paper stitches for the medical supplies. you should also stock up on toilet paper, toothpaste, water, toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash,soap,anti-bacterial wipes, rope, dry food, pasta, kitchen roll, baby wipes, torches, matches, candles, sleeping bags, tents, ammo, towels, books, radio preferably wind up,batteries, mres (meal ready to eat) and water purification tablets, beans and blankets hope this helps.
I was going to suggest a dehumidifier but if you run it all the time it can cost $700 per year to run it. Since you have reloading gear, powder, primers, guns, and unsealed dry food in there you should get one with a humidity readout so that you can turn it off when humidity is low. Go to gunbroker and pick up one or more 5000 round cases of .22LR since you can't reload it. I don't like Spam so I got cans of corned beef hash instead. Look at calories of the canned goods you buy to get the most.
You haven't mentioned water unless I missed it in one of your other videos. You can never have too much water! (and don't store it in used milk containers!) A good way to stock up on food is to take advantage of your grocery stores buy one get one free items, if they have that in your area. Of course store what you will actually eat,and visit emergency essentials if you haven't already! Good variety for just starting out a week ago though!
You got a good start there.. and winter is the best time to do your reloading. Canning is easy.. you will enjoy it. Looks like a good start. Medical supplies I look for is first, gauze, bandaids, neosporin, however thats spelled lol, Aspirin, non aspirin pain reliever, Alleve, Peroxide, and then we move on to antibiotics. I keep lots of tape and gauze for larger injuries, slings, and the like. Lots of that type stuff you can pick up at gun shows.
