Going vegan changed my life and many others lives as well. There are so many reasons to go vegan! Health, Animal Rights, Conservation... take you pick. People say that vegan diets can be dangerous... well let me point out something. ANY diet can be dangerous. You still have to eat right and make sure you get the calories, protein and vitamins you need. There are fat vegans just like there are fat omnivores. Be smart about it. seriously ;)

I'm not going to believe that unless you tell me of a famous person who was overweight and vegan. Just seems so extremely rare and unlikely. I've never EVER seen a fat vegan in my life.

We don't soak in countless calories like meat eaters do. There isn't any reason why a vegan should be overweight, even with a poor vegan diet. Much much lower calorie intake for us.

to maintain your weight you maintain your calorie intake/ exercise and burn calories. doing any more or less of this makes you gain or loose weight. i am vegan and have been for 8 months. before that i was vegetarian for a year. i am overweight by about 10 pounds because i'm just lazy. i just got out of school and i spend my days sleeping in, hanging out with friends and working a LITTLE :P no, i have not ever seen an OBEISE vegan, but yes, i do know some other overweight vegans.

Ok problem with this video. Paul McCartney is not a vegan. His daughter is, as well as his ex-wife but he is not. Also, Ed Begley Jr. is vegetarian and even mentioned that he is a vegetarian and last years green festival. He never used the word vegan and while he does sometimes eat vegan I believe he continues to wear leather and eat cheese and dairy, although I can't confirm this. Finally, Carl Williams is no longer a vegan.

i, too, am vegetarian. 2 years so far. i am seriously considering just going all the way. i have never felt so proud. i'm standing up for what i believe in. i've no idea who a lot of these folks are, and as i do support peta, i am disgusted by a lot of their supporters jerk off attitudes towards non veggie types. prolly just a bunch of idiot kids, but in my opinion, vegan/vegetarians should always be mature about our beliefs in confronting others.

Hi Ry4n, I sent you an interview of Pam saying she cooks vegan now. That usually means she's become vegan which is only a good thing. I was Vegetarian for 7 years before I became a vegan. It's been 3 years now I've been vegan.
