Can you link to the expired auction at least? There is no company named "pedal metal". There is a company named Nyko which sells really low quality garbage that will not help you.
i fixed my pedal using the same concept but i didnt call up a company to get the pieces . i took an aluminum piece, cut into the pedal shape, then rivited it onto the broken plastic, and it was all done homemade. cost me nothing because my father worked at a metal company which got me the aluminum free. its been 5 months now and it hasnt broken since.
I am waiting for my guitar to come back and then I want to get my bass pedal replaced. Once I get the pedal I won't play on it until I mod it with some sheet metal. :D
Man, i bought this pedal off the website over a month ago and it still hasn't arrived! It's not like i even live out in the middle of nowhere either. i live in toronto, canada, which is pretty much the biggest city in canada...like what the F*ck? where's my pedal guys?
Yeah I agree the carbon ones look cool. I actually went to the guys house, as he lives about 30mins from me. He didn't recommend the carbon version if the pedal had already broken. Onces its snapped he said you really need to use the screw on fix. I am very happy with mine! Cheers
I got a pedal metal plate from ebay a while ago too. I got the carbon fiber version. (which is closer to $30 if I remember right. Well worth it either way.) It's worked great for me. It's also a good alternative if you don't want to void your warranty by drilling holes into your pedal as it just sticks on with adhesive (very good adhesive, so far I haven't had to worry about it slipping off). I highly reccommend these!
i shredded so hard on expert drums i was keith mooni'n it and the pedal just broke in half and i was like "NOT AGAIIINN!!!!!"

but why pay more money to fix it. I recommend ordering a replacement and just ducktape the pedal for now.
