But everybody didn't know then that he was judicially mudered at the behest of the USA who wanted him out of the way as punishment for pursuing Pakistan's Nuclear Program. This they accomplished through the Owl faced Military dictator Zia ul Haq (USA is infamous for supporting military juntas, fascists and dictators the world over). However, it was our country's bad luck that we lost a leader of Bhutto's stature.

I still can't believe they murdered him, I am only 27 but his story fascinates me, what a great man he was, what a strong willed and strong character man, his hanging tells the store of my country Pakistan in a nutshell, where even until today we are commiting these murders to our own people (his daughter Benazir Bhutto killed while pakistan witness), Zulfikar may you rest in heaven, it's a shame you were shaheed before your time.

Yes, they have killed both father and daughter. But what a way to leave this world. One has to die some day, but to give up one's life in order to be immortalized and remembered forever is the crown of achievement. Today, Pakistan loves and remembers Bhutto and Benazir. This is the justice of history and time. Yazeed martyred Imam Hussain. Does anybody know where Yazeed lies today, whereas Karbala is known today for the noble and pure blood that was shed there.

Plz dont compare Benazir to Zulfiqar, as Zulfiqar was his own man and not a puppet unlike Benazir. May Allah bless Zulfiqar a true Pakistani arrow into the hearts of our enemies during his leadership.

Zia killed Bhutto in a bid to wipe himoff the pages of history, but does anybody remember Zia today? Whereas, go to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's last resting place even today and you will find people showering rose petals on his and his valiant daughter's graves.

I am Indian, Just today I have heard many of speeches made by this gentleman and interviews, from his body language and the passion he spoke with about Pakistan, he clearly wanted nothing more then the best for his country. My condolences to his family and to Pakistan because I truly feel they have lost a great leader.

JagaJatt44, you are right. It is our bad luck we lost a gem of a leader. He would have been a pillar of stability in the region and surely would have contributed to building a steady and positive relationship with India. May his soul rest in peace. You will have to come personally to his tomb in Larkana and see for yourself to believe the intense love and affection the people still atach to him. Great leaders never die, they continue to live in history. FOREVER!
