I have some friends who are Mizzzou fans and we like to razz each other back and forth all in good fun. But whenever it gets into a serious discussion about why the opposing school sucks or what not, all I have to do is ask one question... What has Mizzou ever done? They like to bring up football or even baseball(lol), but I simply ask "Yeah, and where are your championships? Even for the BigXII?" Oh yeah, they don't exist. You're sitting on your ass for half the game while in basketball you are constantly running up and down the court. Basketball is rougher than football anyway. In basketball you don't have pads and you still get elbowed in the face, gut you get ran over and pushed to the ground. Football? Sure there are big hits but you still have pads to protect you. Football is weak, basketball is a true sport

@24codyc I know it's a hard sport, I played one year, I didn't like it because I hated the helmets and pads haha. But if you think about it, there are tons of breaks in the action for football, while with basketball it is constantly back and forth. I've played both football and basketball, and honestly, basketball is rougher. I've had bloody noses, mouths, twisted ankles, sprains, elbows to various body parts and lots of court burns. In football the worse was a bruise and a sore back.
