Actually, sometimes, lyrics just wreck the piece. It depends. Usually, you don't see the lyrics in real MVs, so why in MMVs? Go out of the ordinary. :)
And, a lot of MMV makers do put the lyrics at the end... & as stated by NintendoCandy.

ahh well, this was proved to be an unofficial mmv. I usually add lyrics at the end, for it is more time consuming to add them with pieces of video.
