any image stabilization software will degrade the image quality by rotating, scaling, and warping pixels. if that's ok for your project and you want your video to look hokey, by all means use image stabilization!
Can Apple give this program to all those hack directors who like to shoot using the "shaky-cam" style of film making? i want to SEE the action, not get nauseous.
Wait...Is it me or is that the Guy who i always see "Pictured" in the MacWorld magazine.. Haha that is awesome if its really him. He does really good articles. =)

why don't you go for a ride with the car to test the imovie stabilization instead of eating chicken????

it only stabilizes the center XD
the corners sort of wiggle around :P
linus191 3 years ago 4
That's because you don't have extra picture on the borders to substitute in, so it has to go somewhere.

Hahahaha, good point on the "shaky-cam" style of film-making. Who dreamed that up? Do some boneheads think that is "artistic"?

On the second clip with image stabilization the image ripples a little. It looks a little bad.
SolarCrave 3 years ago
Yeah, it looked really bad, better off just investing in a decent tripod.

not sure about the image stabilization, but you need some work on your carving technique: it looks like you attacked that bird with a Weedwhacker.
