  • hey Man, good playing i enjoyed it. I also love the girl walking around in the background.

I'm also composing, i just wanted to know how much time it took you to compose this song? Also, may i know who is your source of inspriation? I live in Montreal, are you still visiting Quebec from time to time?

  • i love the song especially the melody :) im putting on a song soon as i have been playing piano for a year and a half and lv composing (trying to anyway lol) so could u give me some feedback when i do :)

  • Its a great composition. Please do some re-record with better audio quality if you have some time.

And please check my composition if you have the time :)

  • Thanks. I'll do so if I have time. It takes some effort to get a perfect take though.

  • very nice:))

    energetic and beautiful

  • Glad you enjoyed it! Care to listen to my more recent composition?

  • hiya, it's beautiful. I'm not a talented pianist:p and cannot compose own music. I used to play piano till I was about 17. I will get another one once I have my own place so I can play it like you do.

  • Have fun doing that. : )

Best of luck getting the cash to get a piano though!

  • very nice, and very emotive and would be brilliant in a movie or movie type game, metal gear solid for instance? well anyway overall i loved it so well done mate :) im going to rate it and favorite it :P

  • awesome piece! by the way, you wouldn't have to worry about sound or video quality if we use my cam, lol. (its joe). ps, should i post that other vid? haha

  • lawl look at the lady in the background eating an iceblock.

its a pretty piece...had you explored beyond the chord progression you were using, i would have been more impressed. It sounds like a pop song, but its cool non the less. Just try to stay away from your general "I IV V IV" chords.

    keep it up :)

  • Thanks for the feedback!

I'm working on a new piece in F sharp minor, exploring new chords. Now, I have trouble getting a good melody, XD.

  • amazing buddy, just amazing. I read all these comments about people not being sure about wt it is ur trying to get across. but it doesnt matter, what eva it is, you do, and this peice is genius

  • Cheers! I'm glad you think that.

  • I you have an mp3 of this could you like send me it! i'd so love to hear it on my Ipod or summit

  • Sure, I just ripped the audio off this video. What's your e-mail?

  • lol dang near the middle you start gettin down.

  • I usually don't like those type of chords because they're overrated.

    But I liked your piece.

It actually had a melody to it, and the piano-forte contrast (in the middle when you went from crazyman to simple) was quite effective.

Good job man! And remember, time spent drinking beer and playing Halo can always be used to write music! To infinity and beyond!!!...

  • Haha, thanks for the comment!

I coincidentially had my second double sniper headshot yesterday while playing Halo.

Better get back to the piano now, ; )

  • My emotions are sort of mixed with this one. It's well done, I like it and all... but I don't understand what you're trying to get across. :)

  • I won't criticise this mainstream composition, because you look like you're not as arrogant and nasty as the others..

  • Ummmm....thanks?

  • it sounds nice. Actually, it sounds like something cool I would hear in a movie. It also sounds like words could go with it (that may be just me, but idk).

  • nice:)

  • wow!!! amazing!!! the beginning sounds a bit like "fairytale" from the movie shrek. LOL. GREAT JOB!!! ho do you come uo with stuff like that? do you hear the music in your head first before you play it? or do you make it up as you go?

  • It pretty much all came into my head starting with the chords and then I built up the melody.

It's a bit funny, but the chord progression for the main section was a bit inspired by the song Gone Away by The Offspring.

    Thanks for listening!

  • very nise composion it has a lovele flow and fell to it as-if your going on to some wonderfull adventure :) check out my composison some time i would like to know what you think of them :)

  • Do you have the notes to that? I would really like to play it on my piano! Thanks so much!

  • I actually just played it, I didn't write anything down for it, sorry!

I'll do it if I have the time.

  • wow, really nice job! I enjoyed the whole peice!

  • Hey, thank you!

Nice to see an actual reply after two spammers in a row. Grrr...

  • I agree, at 1:40 comes the best part. the beggining and the end are too happy for me, I mean, it remembers me of some kind of "in the end" by linkin park.

Care to listen to my composition?

  • oh man!! i really really like it, i wish the sound quality was better :)

  • Very good, especially liked the manic middle section, G min - Eb - D 1st inversion? Felt that it could have gone on for longer, maybe with a better way of linking it to the opening and closing sections? Good technique, well played, thanks for listening to my piece.

  • Well, it's G -, Eb +, F +, D +.

  • I think it's a bit schizophrenic, like you have two different tunes jammed together that don't fit. The beginning and end are exceptionally beautiful, and reminiscent of the wonderful, delicate theme from the movie Contact. I agree that the tune could easily be a movie theme, it's great.

The middle part sounds like a whole different composition - it's dynamic but not as good as the rest, sounding more like the background to some overlying tune.

    Just my opinion.

  • Thank you very much for the feedback. I actually composed all three "movements" separately and decided to put them together as one. I wanted the piece to build up by changing to minor key, raising the tempo but in the end, going back to the original motive and restoring the calm.

  • Awesome. I could see that as a theme to a movie score.

  • Funny that you say that because I actually wrote the second and third sections as music for a friend's film.

  • good job!!!

  • very good man, sounds alot better in person though.

  • ya ive seen him. in person waaaaaayyyyyy better sound!!!

  • woot, great job man. You'll have to introduce me to your sister when we work out a scoring deal. ;)

  • nice job...liked the part at 1:40
