We used to pay these brave soldiers as if their country cared for them; that as a nation we valued their lives and appreciated their service. That is no more, and long since gone by.

Compensation, allowances, incentives & separation bonuses for enlistments are a sick joke; a travesty, and insulting. Officers are little better, and we are making ///way/// too many Brass Hats to begin with.
