Taxes, for the most part are a scam. Consumption taxes or specific taxes as per the LEGAL implementation of the Constitutional law are the only ones that are proper.

State taxes are another story, but the same principle of power and control of people and their property applies.

Once you are subject to a tax, you are a subject of the one who collects that tax.

In the man's defense, he's probably living off of savings and social security. He pays a lot of property tax. He's hoping that an income tax focused on millionaires (not him) will decrease his property taxes.
