the force is real i have used it learned it and gained power of mind body and soul i can astral travle with ease and have actully been summoned to a light ship with light gardiens witch were hooded and cloked with crystal blue eyes they told me and showed me knoalge wisdom magic and spells and told me that i was never alone i said i wanted to stay but they said the energy was not ready and they said energiese i was blasted down a vortex and bk in my room the force is always with me everyday

I, too, would like to study these tests to see if they have been peer-reviewed and are legitimate, but I find this idea to be very exciting and fascinating. I am a pantheist and I believe in a spiritual force that encompasses all of nature. If these scientific tests prove to be legitimate, that would be incredible.

@manabrau might, do but she really didn't explain what tests were done and what the results were properly. e.g. was the DNA put under the same tests as the person but just separated from the person, or was only the tests done on the person and the separated DNA responded from far away?

Mormon doctrine calls it simply "Intelligence". "God" is a highly advanced being (or group of beings of an order), and not confused with Intelligence. For me, calling Intelligence God is like calling the tallest building (or mountain) on earth, well, "Earth". Intelligence is the pool from which gods and other beings are made, but not a god itself (except in a pantheistic way, like Chaos, the Greeks nature god). But yeah, Lucas took some of his "Force" from ideas in pre-existing faiths.

sorry to disapoint you poster, but the DNA seperation scenerio you were discussing, involves something called "strange attraction" i think its called(dont remember) anyways, at the molecular level, molecules seperated at great distances that were once binded still are connected in some way..what happens to one, will effect the other, just at your dna scenerio..its not the force...its basic molecular physics...

@IndoShanz More like this: It began n 94 when a guy saw that u could apply concepts from the movies/books/games n real life. L8r n 97, we saw forums spring forth that would develop the ideas further & even started 2 pull from the inspiration that contributed 2 the SW Universe. In 01, we finally saw the 1st church spring forth from the philosophy built by those forums. Jediism isn't about Star Wars, it's about the preexisting beliefs which open up a better understanding of the human experience.
