I was too young to remember the 1956 show, but I remember watching this one in 1964. We always watched O&H as my mother adored Ricky. I think Doc is the only one still alive as of 2011.

The old-fashion Christmas tree is beautiful....does anyone use tinsel anymore? I remember when I was a kid hanging it strand by strand on my parents tree. It was tedious, but well worth the effort,
