The idiots in the comments piss me off. The man dropped the box off at the humane society, left it right by the front door, and it was obvious the humane society was opened so they obviously found the box in a matter of a couple of minutes. My god, some people are too damn sensitive!!!!!

maybe the guy is in poor health and can't take care of the dog, he looks not really well.. he did not open the box because the dog might run and become a stray dog and might hit by a car.. in minutes someone will see the box

Give me a break people, the guy left the dog INSIDE the first set of doors at the HUMANE SOCIETY! this is not the same as leaving him in the woods. Yeah, it would have been better if he left him at the front desk, but it's not like this is exactly cruel.

i near died laughing hard at this video....first off the poor guy probably has babies at home seeing that he placed the dog in a huggies box, secondly --the poor guy is dropping the dog off at the human society...cut him some slack!! it aint like he dropped the dog in the middle of nowhere....he placed it a spot where the dog would be found in minutes! plus the dog's ugly, u cant blame the guy for surrendering it.

@ShroobMaster the problem is: this is still considered neglect, because if the dog chewed its way out of the box, it is near one of the busiest streets in North East Portland. It would have been hit for sure. So it is just as cruel as leaving it in the wild. There are also signs out in front of the building that state this as Oregon law, so he's guilty of ignoring the law and he can't claim he didn't know because it is right smack in front of him on the door.
