  • This guy is all mouth he couldn't hold a stick in weight lifting competition LOL. He rides a bike and runs a little like other women. Eat meat and raw food. This guy won't last long.

  • Are there any champion atheletes out there other than runners? I can't find anybody on youtube.

  • Ugh the moustache is awful. I literally just put my finger over it, you'd be so much cuter without. With it you're kinda creepy.

  • man...i really want to try going raw..if these gurus weren't so damn annoying ..i might actually do it.

  • Ahahaaa....love the 'stache! :-)))

  • :) Thanks for this beautiful video

    Ka Sundance

  • diggin the stache

  • Harley I love you.

  • I so agree...

  • Its body builders not body biwders. And its health not heawf.

  • @bently460 Stop, he's just gonna loff at you.

  • Why do you always put someone else's picture as a front for your videos?

  • @bently460 Because he is desperate for hits, and is happy to use his whore girlfriend as a false-advertising thumbnail slut to attract people to watch his meth-look sunken in face. And 'collar bone lean' HOLY SHIT that is such an anorexic view and excuse to be emaciated.

  • @paleoprimal You really don't impress when you start using disgusting, vile language. What a horrible, dispicable human being you are.

  • hey hey! Have you considered - fast abs magic (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 got great Six pack abs and lost lots of belly fat with it.

  • Holla! Have you tried - fast abs magic (google it)? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my cousin got amazing Six pack abs and lost tons of belly fat with it.

  • Oh and before I forget nice 100% authentic 1970's Porn mustache

  • Bro that guy was anorexic what the fuck " I'm still to fat I way 125 pounds an I still can't see my collar bone or my ribs got to lose 100 pounds" this guy is a dumb ass where's the hot chick

  • who cares

  • What type of diet do you recommend for a cannibalistic sperm bank doner?

  • you look like borat :D

  • Oh god there was a mayonaise ad before the video. YOUTUBE FAIL.

  • Man, I haven't watched one of your videos in a while and the facial hair scared the heck outta me!

  • Harley, what would you recommend for soccer? I need some strength and some aerobic perhaps, agility is pretty important but strength is also handy.

  • @germanicelt Humans aren't designed to eat meat (flesh). Its ironic because something dead (like meat) doesn't help one thrive. Meat doesn't give clean energy like plants do. There is something wrong with the typical Western diet and we aren't meant to be carnivores. Mother nature is mean yes, but that doesn't imply that we thrive on death like some animals do.

  • You look like a porn star with that mustache!

    Love your videos!

  • Let's see a video with you "bench pressing" to prove that you're strong.

  • @Elite1987 How much do you want me to bench. Im running sub 17 for 5k, sub 3 for the marathon and can ride 620km in 24hours.

  • @durianriders You are pathetic DR. I could deadlift your bodyweight x 4. You're going down with the resources I have backed up.

  • @durianriders So you think that that is somehow superior to lifting weights? When neither one is superior. But running a marathon is just goddam stupid! Ego shit...

  • @durianriders No body gives a crap about your running stats Harley. Cardio is for fags who have OCD and some underlying disorder making them constantly seek validation and approval of others and do it with measurable tasks like "I can run X in X minutes" or "I can eat up to 70 bananas a day" or some crap like that the no body really cares about except yourself. See the Freelee video on 'no801010' channel LOL

  • @durianriders You both are arguing two different exercises! cardio vs. resistance training. I find high cardio workouts do well with high fruit diet, but more resistance training needs more protein. That's even minimal resistance training.

  • @crosswind76 Don't say you need protein for anything, that's just crazy talk, and you'll just make him "loff".

  • @Elite1987 Everyone likes to focus on different things, pretty normal, right? Wanna see some impressive bench presses, check out 57 year old Dr. Doug Graham's stunts.

  • @Elite1987 Not everyone that eats meat 3 times a day can bench press heavy weight either. Just like not all meat-eaters are body builders, not all vegans are bodybuilders.

  • @Elite1987 agreed

  • my great grandmother eats meat and she is over 90 years old, still walking, not sick and going strong. my grandmother and grand father eats meat still walks and going strong, they look like they are in their 40's how is this possible?

  • @istofal

So did mine and she resisted 3 hear attacks at the age of 90. I myself am 27 and Im slim and look 18 at most and never had any health issues even though I smoke red marlboros and am an alcoholic since the age of 17 and also ate tons of meat everyday. Yet a several months I became a vegan not for worrying about my health but for the sake of the world and animals.

  • @platelegs But they are from an island so that may have something to do with it. Although they eat meat, they still have access to organic fresh fruit, veggies and herbs, so maybe that balances it out. I eat very little meat myself not because of my health or to save animals, but I don't like the taste of it lol. Meat is kind of gross if you think about it.

  • whats up with the porn star mustache lol

  • Sorry I didn't like your mustache

  • Shave your stache so I can wolf-whistle at you again ;-)

  • Don't know about the silent movie villain 'stache, but the lecture is good!

  • Great vid as always. Anyone who wants to see proof of what he's talking about, check out my natural bodybuilding page. You can be any type of athlete that you want on this type of diet. Like the man said, TRAIN FOR YOUR SPORT, EAT HEALTHY, LIVE HEALTHY. Your body will thank you.

  • 3,000 kcal of raisins in NY costs $3. You can eat raw vegan with foodstamps...

  • i love you harley but you are much cuter sans stache, lol :)

  • great video!!

  • they're called clavicles

  • Harley, what's with the mustache??? :)))

  • thanks- Like the facial hair!! Wink

    Cathy Starr*

  • Yay collarbones :-) Fruits & veggies are so amazing, thank goodness for crop farmers. All nations should have a day to honor crop farmers instead of these stupid holidays! And I love muscles on men :-)))

  • Exactly!

Love the new mustache.... but Harley is it legal to have that kind of mustache and not be wearing a cowboy hat? LOL ;-)

  • @Durianriders Vegetables (lettuce in particular) has helped me put on an appreciable amount of muscle mass. I suspect the biological value of lettuce to be infinitely higher than that of damaged proteins in raw or cooked meat, because I am making greater gains eating 4-5 lbs of lettuce everyday, as opposed to the 4-5 lbs of meat I WAS eating everyday. Incredible. But this shouldn't come as a surprise, look at the prehistoric dinosaurs, the BIGGEST? Plant eaters.

    'Nuff said!

  • Nice porn stache.

  • @Durianriders Harley,

I live in Ottawa, Canada and the weather has been rather insipid -- cold, as always, and getting colder as the days go by. I am still adhering as close as possible to a fruitarian diet with one caveat, my overts have nearly doubled, tripled or quadrupuled. I can't stop eating nuts, seeds & avocados. The allure of fruit has deadened since the coming cold has arrived, and now I'm unsure if this is healthy or sustainable in the long term.

    Charles

  • @ThePantherVision Look up Tedd Carr and Chris Kendall. 2 fruit based vegan athletes that live in Candada and thrive.

The colder it is, the more cals we need. Get em from fat and pay or get em from carbs and play.

  • @durianriders No sweeter words ever spoken... I took your advice and carbed up, and the cravings for fat have diminished substantially. Thanks!

  • durianriders, "Get em from fat & pay, or get em from carbs & play" T-SHIRT!!!!

  • ThePantherVision, I am in Calgary AB Canada, & I don't eat any Overts. I eat a lot of fruit, especially dates! SUGAR SUGAR SUGAR!! I have found in the past that if I wasn't eating enough fruit Cals, than I'd start going towards fats. Fats to me are the same as proteins, the hair starts falling/thinning & the nails start peeling/chipping, if I'm not getting enough Fruit Cals. :)

  • @RawChanneLife As someone recovering from an eating disorder (bulimia and anorexia), 5'11 and 142 lbs I think it's farcical to advocate SUGAR, SUGAR, SUGAR when we (Canadians in general) live in such a forbidding environment. Dates are an excellent source of dense, concentrated source of calories but are lacking in the protein & fat needed for rebuilding my my body. Personally, for me, I feel no shame in eating 8 avocados and 20 bananas, even if it does not fall within the 8/1/1 scheme of things

  • @RawChanneLife Here's the breakdown of my food intake for today: 8 avocados, 20 bananas, 1 liter of rice milk, 1 cup of almonds and 1 pineapple. How about you?

  • @RawChanneLife Also, it doesn't hurt that avocados -- at 200+ calories per avocado -- are on sale at Metro this week (check your flyer) for $2.50/5 avocados.

Hmmm, as far as your hair thinning/falling out, that is reminiscent of myself when I was anorexic/bulimic because of nutritional deficiencies, not because of higher protein/fat content in my diet. I'm no longer restricting and I've seen a return of my sex drive (a little too much!), hair growth and overall quality of life.

  • ThePantherVision, & I am pointing out that our hair follicles are made out of "protein" but the hair grows from nutrients fed by the blood in the root. & that the hair is merely a fibre made of keratinized proteins. My main point is that everything has carb/protein/fat & all fruits & veggies eaten in high enough quantities in enough variety are the key to the answer of all nutrients required by the body to survive. Also that I am in Canada, & I have never fully understood this myth of needingfat

  • @RawChanneLife That alone, that we still churn out hair endlessly without a full compliment of everything in our diet, does not instantiate any feelings in myself that I should abandon eating proteins and fats secludedly. I do not think you will find in nature a creature -- omnivore, herbivore, frugivore or whatever taxonomy you fancy -- that will pass up on any foodstuff that will not in some way improve its situation. For better or worse, proteins and fats were the cornerstone of our evolution

  • ThePantherVision, of needing more fat in the Winter Months, NOW what is TRUTH in Winter months, is that we USE MORE energy in the Winter Months to keep WARM, so we need to eat more. =) I'm not attacking you here, ThePantherVision. Overts: Healthy Fats. I don't eat them. :) I've knocked acidic foods from my diet, & I get the required fats from my GR33NS in Winter Months too. I don't speak of "Fats" being the devil as someone with disordered eating, I speak in terms of, I would likeToHealMyTeeth

  • @RawChanneLife Then, we are a match made in heaven, for I also am trying to heal my teeth! I have spent countless months tirelessly searching the internet over in hopes of finding a solution, but I have yet to find one one diet that has either alleviated, remediated or outrightly "cured" (for lack of a better term) my teeth. You know, 3 1/3 months ago, when I was down on my knees praying to Gd to make my passing easy, I lambasted myself for being SO FOOLISH. To unleash all this pain on myself..

  • @RawChanneLife Truthfully, and not to be a "Debbie downer" here, I have exploited EVERY angle (dietarily) in hopes of returning my teeth to "normalcy." None have worked... But, like I said -- and putting things into PERSPECTIVE -- I could be DEAD; a much worse outcome in any which way you look at it; so to be alive and improving myself is richly rewarding, in the context of where I have been.

From 90 lbs 3 1/2 months ago, to 142 lbs today: proof the human body can make the best of any sit

  • ThePantherVision, it takes at least 6 months of overt free for the cells in the body to regenerate. I HAVE seen my teeth remineralize. The enamel, I have seen small cavities repair themselves. I too have experimented with "diets" (the foods we eat, not what we don't eat) I have also been 84lbs, & fasted, I have also been 180lbs & obese. With a high body fat. I have been back & forth, up & down just as many times as one can shake a stick at. Your own perspective, your own trials. :)

  • @RawChanneLife I am not doubting you in the least, but for myself, I am skeptical that a diet wholly based on fruits and vegetables (any maybe nuts and seeds, though they are implicated in being ruinous to the teeth) has the potential remineralize enamel. Diet is only HALF (or maybe less, maybe more) the battle, there is a a multitude of factors that will influence the the condition of your teeth -- not diet alone, not by any means.

If I can grow 1" in 3 1/2 months of feasting...

  • I have posed this very same question to DR, and that's: What is the purpose of having teeth when the food you eat does not require them to be in functional form? Teeth would quickly become meaningless/redundant in a situation where my food does not require it, say in the case of eating bananas. First of all, bananas (when ripe) require little mastication and are easy down the hatch. Why would you need teeth to eat bananas? In fact, when eating ANY food that is soft and can be gummed....

  • @ThePantherVision Good question. I guess we have teeth like fruit bats have teeth...they live exclusively on fruit and nectar yet could bite your finger off.

  • @durianrider Precisely; humans have teeth that resemble frugivorous bats that subsist on nectar (some exclusively) and fruits. Actually, the higher the percentage of fruit that the bat has in its diet, the more likely its dentition will resemble our own. I believe the deviation in our teeth which sets us apart is that as our sources of carbohydrates began to include starches, our molars became increasingly flattened instead of sharp for piercing the skin of fruit.

  • WHY have teeth at all? I am not saying this because my situation is so desperate that I have relinquished my desire to improve my teeth through intervention, only that I am trying to understand the need for teeth when our food is so soft that it does not require further processing from arbitrary mastication. But why, you may be asking, has the trend been that our teeth have improved over the years? Good dental hygiene would be a factor, another being fluoride and other treatments implemented.

  • @ThePantherVision Fluoride should not go in our water, check out on this further please. For ex. 'fluoride deception'.

  • @Helenelalala Okay. Don't fluoridate water, it doesn't matter to me! My water requirements -- as is the same for everyone else -- can be obtained from food alone. Unless you're eating copious amounts of sodium that requires water for flushing the kidneys, you are in no danger of dying of thirst because you don't drink 1,2, 3,4 or even *5* liters of water a day.

  • Comment removed

  • @durianriders Why are people so weird about eating lots of fruit Harley? I had 8 bananas the other day and people were all like 'you can't eat that many it's bad for you'. Etc etc

If I was sitting there with 8 doughnuts nobody would have said a thing!

  • What diet would you give to a dancer?

  • @ExcelAndBeExcellent The same diet & lifestyle as a fat, sick or super fit person. Have a guess what diet and lifestyle that would be? ;)

There is a LOT of money to be made in prescribing special diets and gimmicks to different sports and demographic groups etc. But last time I checked a sick horse at the same food as a fast horse or a big horse ate the same type of food as a pony.

We ALL thrive on the SAME diet and lifestyle. ZERO exceptions.

  • @durianriders: i shoot myself 1 mg b12 with a 8mm needle. My fitness skyrocketed shortly after it.

Now i want to get my b12 to elite levels. My question: Where to buy leaner needles, because it was very painful to use the 8mm needle. I didnt find leaner needles on the net.

  • That was a pretty dumb question. It's like asking "Why are pectorals more pronounced on steroid using bodybuilders?"

  • @durianriders You're the man Harley. I have a request for a cowboy hat for your next video. I think it would go nicely with the mustache.

  • you could get some cookie duster wax and start curling your 'stash' tips bro

  • I had to replay this because all I could focus on was the mustache

  • WTF IS YOUR PROBLEM?!?! SHAVE THAT F'N MUSTACHE!!!

  • If the raw fruit diet is so healthy how do you explain the brown cancer growing above your lip?

  • Harley, your message of the the critical importance of hydration has been so consistent and compelling for so long now that you've even convinced your eyebrows to come down to your top lip for a drink ;)

  • Lots of people have trouble with B12 deficiencies on a raw food diet. A raw, organic, humane, vegetarian way to fix this is by eating raw chicken eggs from a trusted local farmer.

  • @petekrusetunes If eating animal products ENSURED b12 sufficiency then how come all my raw meat eating friends have CLINICALLY diagnosed low serum b12? A few of them now do b12 injections and now their b12 serum levels are jacked right up.

Eating periods from pet chickens might be humane but it sure doesnt do squat for raising b12 serum levels and reducing homocysteine/MCV/uMMA.

Regardless of diet, if you want to raise your b12 serum and drop your homocysteine, b12 injections work 1000%

  • @durianriders There's no 100% assurance with anything in health. Your friends who you refer to are a subjective example. They could have prior health problems or you could just be thinking of those people in your life that eat meat and have low B12 as opposed to those in your life who eat meat etc and are fine.

Vegans are way more deficient in B12 than omnivores, that's well established:

    nature .c om/ejcn/journal/v64/n9/abs/ejcn2010142a .h tml

    Synthetic supplements are not optimal.

  • @durianriders

Surely if you have to inject yourself with things then the diet isnt naturally right, if its the right way to eat surely then all the vitimins and nutriants we need would be in it not having to artifficial give them to yourself?????

  • @durianriders I understand what you are saying here Harley but we evolved into the form we are now through nature, not injections. If we need injections to have B12 then there is something wrong because we should not require human intervention. Nature provides everything we need to be alive. Thats how we got here in the first place. There MUST be a natural non-meat source.

  • @MickScarborough Not to just bounce in on you, but I've heard that sea vegs have b12. Like seaweed. Sun dried seaweed, or the whole seaweed, seems like a good source.

  • @petekrusetunes Killing an animal without causing it to suffer is alot better than what you would see in most of the animal kingdom. Mother nature is actually very cruel. But this is still not good enough for the Vegan. They see eating one serve of meat a week the same as two serves a day. They are extremists with no understanding of where we came from.

  • @germanicelt Watch the documentary "Earthling" :)

  • You are right! I started noticing my arms getting smaller after starting my raw journey and challenge, but because of reading 811 I understood that the reason they look smaller is because the fat surrounding them is melting as well as the fat between the muscle fibers. When lifting weights, without getting rid of the fat, the muscles grow but they will push up the fat, so is sort of deceiving. That's why abs could be hard to show, because they are there but fat is covering them.

  • Too distracted by 'stache to know what this video is about...

  • Comment removed

  • you have a good mustache. better if you grow it huger

  • Great video y u rockin the 80's porn star mustache (;

  • Lol, lose the stash. Men with mustaches cannot be trusted.

  • Love the stash...

  • 70's porn stache FTW!

  • @austinsdc11 ha ha the porn stash is epic

  • oh and how come you sucked us into the video with a sexy bikini pic of freelee

  • The only thing so far that I have read of Robert Cheeke that I dont like is that he tells his clients to consume 1g or protein per pound of lean body so thats basically saying about 150g plus per day for a man. Vegan nutritionalists like Brenda Davis say more like 1g protein per kg of lean weight which is more like 72g a day. I take in about 70-80g a day (the guys at my sup store take more than that even before its lunch). One person says this, one person says that. :(

  • Wicked stache Harly!

  • Harley, can you please address how to rebuild bone mass? Thanks!

  • lol @ the 1.51 subliminal

  • BTW Congrats, I just noticed you are rocking the stash Harley! : )

  • I think you can build muscle mass by eating the right vegan or raw vegan foods, with proper timing and proper training.

Like Harley, I do not wish to gain mass. I believe that the goal should be useable strength, endurance and the ability to efficiently manipulate your own body mass. I do Kung Fu and my goal is to be ripped like Bruce Lee or Jet Li. Gymnasts and Ballet people have the best bodies.

  • use the pic of freelee to lure ppl i see how you roll

  • Harley - thanks for the video! Unrelated topic... you look a bit like Daniel Day-Lewis in the film "There Will be Blood" with that 'stache you're sporting.

  • Harley can you do a video on the pros / cons of creatine? Are there any dangers to it?

  • Thanks for posting all the sites at the end of the video

  • So funny to see the one guy who will NEVER need a Red Bull in a Red Bull sponsored race. Oh well it could be worse. "This Marathon brought to you by KFC Austrailia!" I can see it now.

  • A lot of bodybuilders SHAVE THEIR MOUSTASCHES.

  • Really huge bodybuilders are not natural. They're on steroids.Natural bodybuilders, whether eating meat or vegans, eat also a lot of leafy green salads and fruits for healthy carbs.

  • Uh...someone really asked you that?! I'm not sure why you bother sometimes...

  • I was wondering about this. My raw food mentor, told me being able to see the collar bone is a good thing. Now you come along and confirm it. I can see my collar bone, but I do need to drop a few pounds. Glad you shared this information!

  • I have never seen a really huge body builder not eating meat.

  • @joshuanodharma Huger doesn't always necessarily mean healthier. :) Take care.

  • @lolitaglitter

Smaller doesn't mean healthier either. too many skinny raw fooders out there.

  • @joshuanodharma Smaller also doesn't mean unhealthier. :) So what I'm saying is, don't judge based on looks. Judge based on energy, how much the person is doing with their life, how happy they are. If they are slow, not doing much, lagging all the time, sad, sick, you have a right to be concerned. Many people are like this. However, out of my experience, few of these people are high fruit/veggie raw vegans. Also, I've seen all different sizes on both spectrums. No need for the stereotypes.

  • @joshuanodharma Cause most people who don't eat meat care for their health so they don't use loads of drugs to produce unnatural amounts of muscle. Not to mention their muscles are inflamed so they appear bigger than they really are as the body expands them in order to help heal them. Works similarly to someone messing up their knees and the knees puff up while healing.

  • @TheRawTeen thats a generalization and you cannot apply that to all people with big muscles. Not all people with big muscles is inflamed. not all is using drugs. And I only mentioned this because durianrider speaks about bodybuilders. I personally feel too big is not beautiful or natural.

  • @TheRawTeen But I see way too many skinny rawfooders around. I can squat, benchpress and deadlift more than ANY rawfooder I have ever met. strenght and endurance is too different things. Im sure durian rider could ride my ass off anytime.

  • @joshuanodharma Ya the majority of raw fooders are in general skinny, but like you say strength and endurance are two different things. There are some more buff raw fooders too, like Sam Spaiser, but there are far more endurance athletes for sure.

  • @TheRawTeen

    totally agree.

Also its interesting to see the different body types out there. Some are naturally more build for sprints. others long distance. I feel somehow the diet of these 2 might also be different. Its so dangerous to say "THIS" diet works for all. Im currently trying out 100% raw plant based. lots of green smoothies. lots of fruits. im in 4th week. feel lots of energy. but less strenght. Im not for or against fruits, raw, veggies etc. Im all for openess ...............

  • @joshuanodharma Atm i'm actually starting to do bodyweight exercises after being 80/10/10 since around march and I'm gaining muscle pretty easily and I feel I have loads of strength. Just wondering, how can you have less strength if you have lots of energy? Unless you just sit around and do nothing and let your muscle wither away, with more energy you can train harder, get more muscle, and be overall stronger.

  • @TheRawTeen

im training as much as before. Have no idea why I am loosing strength. you tell me? my cardio is better. lifting max is down. interesting. but as a martial artist I would say this diet truly support me. as a body builder so far I would say no.

  • @joshuanodharma How many calories are you eating per day?

  • @joshuanodharma be aware that if you are new to this type of eating (like me), and are also coming off dairy/meat, then your body is going to go through a detox period where it will strip bad cells from your body & then regenerate & rebuild new healthy cells to replace the bad... this takes time, but don't blame the food, it's the body finally being able to do it's job properly 'cause you're giving it the right tools to work with =) good luck & keep having fun =)

  • @lovescartoons

yes true. I am having faith in this and will continue. feels right.

Im getting lots of support and thanks for the advice :)

  • @TheRawTeen and the ability to understand and accept that what might be poison for you and me might be another mans medicine. however I have never heard of a guy curing his prostate cancer with meat or anything from animals. but nothing in this world is black or white. Alkalinity is good, but we also need some acidity :) consider EVERYTHING.

  • @joshuanodharma how much can you bench, deadlift, and squat?

  • @joshuanodharma Yes, the hugest people eat food that's un-natural, dehydrating and fatty. (except for Killer Kawalski) Meat doesn't have unique properties for building muscle, but the steroids in it do.

And like Harley said: most meat-eaters don't have big muscles. The huge body builders rare genetic oddities, not people to base a theory on.

  • Porn star stasch, Nice.

  • Hi... I was following your advice about keeping hydrated and drinking more water. I seem to be getting a bloated face and sweat a lot. Im not drinking huge amounts but these are the side effects. Any thoughts?

  • @JuSdAt There are NO side effects to being properly hydrated. Bloated face means you eat too much salt or have too much still sitting in there. The fact that you think sweating is unnatural means your DEFINITELY out of shape. ;)

One should be sweating BUCKETS during a hard workout. I remember watching Lance ride and he was sweating so much a bit of his sweat flicked onto my arm as I stood on the side of the road. I havent washed my arm since.

Seriously though, sweating is good n natural.

  • you make so much sense.

  • i think i am undermustached

  • lol DR you look funny with that mustache!!

  • I used to have that problem. People would poke at my collarbone saying I am "undermuscled" yet I am more muscled than most people, but it would lower my confidence bigtime back then, despite being more muscular than them!

  • Harley with a stache!
