  • are you from Arizona i go there every 3 months i go to Wilcox Arizona my kid loves fishing and i don't know Arizona do you know what would be the nearest lake around there

  • @thspa1234 - the nearest I know of is San Carlos Lake (Reservoir) about 2 hours north of Willcox. The lake level is pretty low compared to years ago, but still has fishing, camping, boating. You may want to do a little research though. Roosevelt Lake is nice. But it's about 3 hours north of Willcox.

  • @cnpike thank you did you make the motor mount or did you buy it and what kind of wood did you use for the seats.

  • @thspa1234 - I actually purchased the motor mount from Bass Pro Shops for about $70. I didn't want to mess w/ building one. The pipes would have to be bent a specific way, etc. The wood for the seats is just a 3/4" plywood w/ oak veneer. I used a marine grade polyurethane on them

  • you have to register the boat when u put the trolling motor on them?

  • @sireatalot247 - In Arizona, you have to. Depending where you live, contact your game & fish dept. to find out.

  • hi there...looking to get an inflatable like this or similar, my question is, how hard are they too paddle for longer periods of time, and are the oar locks durable enough for prolonged usage?? thanks

  • @TtimWh - honestly, I couldn't tell you about prolonged use of oars. I rarely have had to use them. I have a motor

  • @TtimWh DONT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!

I WENT OUT ON MY INTEX ITS THE SMALLEST FISHING ONE THEY MAKE AND I WENT OUT ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO AND IT TOOK ME ABOUT AN HR TO GO 50 YARDS THATS ME AND MY BUDDY ROWING AND IM STILL IN PAIN I CANT TURN TO MY RIGHT IT HURTS LIKE SHIT

  • Did u make the wooden seats and if u did can u make a vid how thanks

  • @loayaa11 - I doubt I'll get a chance to make a video for that anytime soon. But if you look at all the previous comments on this video, I describe how I made them.

  • I am glad you posted this as I have a one of these boats and was looking for this set up. Good job!

  • @congoairman - thanks for the comments

  • So stupid, this is not a boat, it's a floating bubble. I wouldn't call a superinflated balloon a boat. I don't wanna burn bridges here, just stating my opinion...

  • @ZehnterMuharam - for a clip of my real boat, search my channel for this video: 2004 Sea Ray 240 Sundeck - Lake Pleasant , AZ - Arizona Sun Deck - You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but I imagine I'm having more fun with the "stupid" things I own & do

  • How much was that electric motor and do u need a license if u add a motor??

  • @CaliCo707 - I think I spent about $120. In Arizona, you need to register anything with a motor. You might check with your local game & fish dept

  • what type of air filling device did you use? the $10 12v compressor from bass pro just isnt topping it off well lol.

  • @hazardous0388 - I'm not sure exactly what brand it is (it's packed away with the boat currently) , but I think I spent around $20 for it. It's not the best compressor, but also not the cheapest.

  • i returned the 280 and got the 360 just for the length purpose. did you notice some ripples not coming out after airing it up? such as the outer tube or inside tune around where you'd sit, mainly the front and back portion.

  • @hazardous0388 - yeah, I think that's normal. Just air it up as much as you can according to the Sevtest gauge

  • @cnpike did you make your own mount or purchase the one for it? if you made it yourself can you give me some sort of direction on how you did? honestly...this is my first boat lol. im from the big city trying to get started into fishing. thanks for any help.

  • @hazardous0388 - I actually purchased the motor mount from Bass Pro Shops for about $70. I didn't want to mess w/ building one. The pipes would have to be bent a specific way, etc

  • i own the 280. i was going to make seats just like you have, running the rope through it. but I'm wondering now how the seat back by the motor will affect the stabilityy of the boath itself lol. did you ever sit on the seat by the motor , while you were the ONLY ONE in the boat? the reason i ask that is because im wanting to only put weight there, as i go by myself most of the time but don't want the boat to flip backwards lol. Im around 245 lbs.

    Thanks in advance

    Dustin

  • @hazardous0388 - I've ridden in mine solo & have no issues w/ stability, etc. Does just fine. In your case though, it's hard to say. I weigh about 195 - & with yours being 9 ft - I don't really know. If you had an ice chest full of beer to weigh down the front, you should be ok. Once the ice chest is empty, that might be a different story. You'll just have to fill it with fish !

  • @cnpike is the material quite soft and squishy or is it tough and durable????????????

  • @cfc88videos - it's pretty tough & durable

  • @cnpike thanks for edvice :D

  • @cnpike thanks for advice :D

  • im sure you could put a 2hp motor on it

  • hey i'd love to make a back seat like that but im not sure how to.. could you comment back with the dimensions of it? it would be helpful.. thanks!

  • @fillhouer21 - The way I did it - is inflate the boat, then measure how wide & deep you want the benches to sit. For the rear bench, I cut the shape out on a piece of cardboard first & then used that as a template. I just used 3/4" plywood with an oak veneer. Unfortunately, the boat & benches are deflated & packed in storage. The next time I take it out for a lake trip, I will be sure to measure everything & post it. Hope that helps!

  • i love show low ive only been to show low lake tho, how's fool holow???

  • @theAZmasta - it's a nice little lake. Nice camp sites with hook-ups & very clean / well maintained

  • I like it ! Looks like fun !

  • What paperwork did you need to register this boat? I bought mine on Ebay last week. I'm not sure what to do since it was not sold as a "motor vehicle." It was new in the box. It's never been registered or issued a title. The only "dealer" was the "store" on Ebay I bought it from. The only paperwork I have is the Ebay receipt and a blank Manufacturer's Statement of Origin that came in the box.

  • @gnarlyspoon - I honestly don't remember. I purchased it at Sportsman's Warehouse & I do remember having to call them for some sort of #. You might find out from your local Game & Fish Dept. & call or email the ebay seller.

  • @cnpike That's ok, I just got it registered today, but not without a struggle! My state is not user friendly with the process and the whole "boat-in-a-box" concept really threw them for a loop. Anyway, now I'm curious about what you used for the registration numbers. Paint? Sharpie? I'm concerned about using something that will hold up without harming the boat material. What did you use and how's it holding up so far?

  • @gnarlyspoon - -I just purchased some stencils of #'s & letters - taped them on & used black spray paint. Everything is holding up just fine except for the decals game & fish sent. those came off & now I just keep them in a plastic sleeve on the boat with me.

  • @cnpike Sounds good. I'll probably do that as well with the stickers. Seems to be a common issue with them falling off. I'm sure some paints work better than others, too, so I'll have to decide which type/brand. Thanks.

  • how are the wood benches working? I ordered a smaller version of this boat and was thinking of doing something similar, at least for the rear seat.

  • @a747freak - they are doing great. Just make sure and router & sand the edges smooth & use a marine grade polyurethane

  • could it be possible to put a anchor on it?

  • @zachcaruth - yes, they make small anchors specifically for inflatables (kinda bell shaped)

  • what kind of air pump are you using?

  • @shanegil - just a standard electric 12 volt pump that connects to the battery. They cost anywhere between $10 to $30

  • Real quick, can you explain to me exactly what kind of battery you have? Also how to you connect the battery to the motor? Do you use a breaker in between? Do you have a separate starter and a marine deep cycle battery? Please im hunting for information as to how to set my boat up correctly thanks.

  • @washn2hiphop40 - I have an EverStart Marine battery. Deep Cycle, 720 cranking amps, 115 amp hrs. I actually purchased thick jumper cables, cut the ends off & I crimped on some terminals. That was the least expensive way I found & it works great. I do have a Minn Kota 50 or 60 amp battery breaker.(can't remember which) It did cost about $45 though. I don't have a separate starter. Hope that helps!

  • oh its underneath the bench. Nice I just got a fish hunter and i am wondering what wires do you use to connect the battery to the motor itself? Can you give me a brief explanation on how to do so?

  • where is your battery placed i dont see it here

  • Nice boat! How wide and long is the rear wooden seat - I'm looking into doing something similar.

  • @cnpike have you eve thought about a boot protector ? jus bought one havent had a chance to test it out though

  • @azteklord - I've seen those. I do want to get one eventually

  • i love the boat. how long does it take to inflate and deflate it? and do you have to take the seats off to do so?

  • @budgetbassboy - It has 3 separate chambers & only takes about 10 minutes. I have an electric air pump.

I don't need to take the seats off to inflate or deflate. They are secured in with the ropes - I just roll it up with the seats on when its deflated

  • i have to say i have seen vids of these inflatables and i dont think it worth fishing off them but this 1 is the best so far love it :D

  • @TheBreamfisher - Thanks for the comment! It is a pretty fun little boat

  • @cnpike it looks soo good

  • how long dose it take to pump and dose it come with padels

  • @loayaa11 - It has 3 separate chambers. I have an electric pump so it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to pump it up. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with paddles, so you have to buy those separately. Thanks for the comment.

  • Can you put an outboard on these? I see it is rated for a 2.5 hp but all I see is people with trolling motors on them

  • No worries and thank you. Mines away for winter as well, hence my laziness. Is 3/4" sturdy enough? I'm a big guy, 215 PBS and wonder if I should go 1". Ordering a bench made of hockey board material. Can router the edges too. No splinters, and 100% waterproof. Will cost about $80 for 1" thick

  • Hoping you could tell me the dimensions of your bench seat. I have the same boat and want to make one. I assume by the video it is roughly 3/4" x 54"x 10"? Any info would be appreciated. I am thinking of making a plastic seat to avoid any unwanted splinters.

  • @vanabel10 - Unfortunately, the boat is currently put away in storage - but I did use 3/4" thick plywood w/ oak veneer. I made it 12" wide but don't remember exactly how long it is. I inflated the boat 1st to figure out exactly what length I wanted. I drilled 3/8" holes for the rope to feed through. If you router the edges & sand it down good, you shouldn't have issues with splinters. I used a couple coats of good marine grade varnish to cover it.

  • hey man, im goin to bass pro shops tmrw, I HOPE i get this. just wondering how to put a floor in? and how to make it so it doesnt puncture the sides, and how to make it smooth, great vid man,

  • Hey, I couldn't fit all the steps here so I just messaged you. I used one peice of 8'x4'x3/4" marine grade plywood and cut it to shape. See your inbox for the details.

  • @Cpennington57 - thanks for the input. How many sections do you have for the floor?

  • finally someone that did something that i wanted to do to this boat.. use to have one but someone stole it.. looking for buy a new one.. thanks for the ideas!

  • No problem! Still have a few more things I want to do to it, like wood floors, a couple more rod holders, as well as cup holders.
